Can you please confirm block finders payout ratio per block?

I thought it was 60%, but my last block paid less than 25%
its been low like this on a few blocks and I can't understand why.

Is is because my winning deadline wasn't great or because the
next best dl was close to my deadline, perhaps?

Reward 6983

http://burstcoin.eu/transaction/1232063051214518638
My reward 1695

Otherwise very happy with your pool and all the work you guys
are doing.

Thank you.

it is not 60% of the block... it's like this...

60% of the PAYOUT is based on the left, and 40% on the right. (overall)

Everything on each pie is based on a ladder payout system, you can see the amounts that would be paid out if we were to find a block now, with the amounts that are listed there...

There are two ladders, one for the current, one for the historic. You can see the number distribution ladder as you see the numbers going down.

So... what you're thinking is 60% of the block's payout, but that isn't it... it is based 60% on the left pie, not 60% of the block's payout.

Overall, our payout system I believe to be the most fair. The block finder gets the most, and someone under him who submitted another share that was close to the block finder's share, would also get a significant payout. Then the historically better miners will get a more solid payout for being a bigger part of the team.

So you can't go by what 60% of the block's payout would be, because that would not ever be equal to your payout. Your payout will be based 60% on the left (you can see what the payout would be at the time of the block being found) and 40% on the right.

To calculate what your payout would be during the block, you can add up the numbers by your name on the left and on the right, that will be your payout minus 1 for transaction fee and 2% for the pool fee.

Hopefully this makes sense...

I still believe our payout system to be the fairest in the land, and it is also fully customizable in the case we decide that we'd like to modify it.

But as of yet (since we've implemented the last changes to the payout system) I have received no complaints. Which I consider a win!

Let me know if you have any more questions and I can answer them for you.

edit: also yes you're right, if someone else finds a deadline really close to yours when you find the block, they will get a significant payout as well, for finding that deadline, and thus take away some of what you would have gotten being the block finder. But I still think that this is fair, so even if you don't find the block, but you find a share close to the block finder when the pool finds a block you still get a nice chunk, I like that.

Thanks, it makes sense. I just wanted to confirm the payout details.

I'm actually really happy at your pool and I've tried lots of the others. Burst.Ninja is running sweet now and yesterday I had my best ever daily burst payout, thanks to a great pool and a little luck.

Keep up the good work Smiley

I added the fixes to my "Simple Term Deposit AT" and I tested it on my local testnet - seems working.

It blocks the funds for N months
When the goal is met, it starts re-paying 1/N each 30 days.

Code:
^declare state
^declare interest_decision
^declare target_amount
^declare months
^declare month_in_blocks
SLP $interest_decision
FUN @current_amount get_Current_Balance
BGE $current_amount $target_amount :repayment
FUN @timestamp get_Creation_Timestamp

refund_loop:
FUN A_to_Tx_after_Timestamp $timestamp
FUN @tx_info check_A_Is_Zero
BZR $tx_info :not_funded
FUN @tx_amount get_Amount_for_Tx_in_A
FUN @timestamp get_Timestamp_for_Tx_in_A
FUN B_to_Address_of_Tx_in_A
FUN send_to_Address_in_B $tx_amount
JMP :refund_loop

repayment:
FUN @monthly_payout get_Current_Balance
DIV @monthly_payout $months
FUN B_to_Address_of_Creator
SET @state #0000000000000002

repayment_loop:
SLP $month_in_blocks
FUN @current_amount get_Current_Balance
BGE $monthly_payout $current_amount :end
FUN send_to_Address_in_B $monthly_payout

not_funded:

Data
Code:

D - Interest decision time in blocks
T - Target amount
M - number of months to run

Example:
For blocking 1,000,000  five years for 5% per year (1000000*1.05^5 = 1276281)
0000000000000000a01700000000000080e101b5137400003c00000000000000302a000000000000

Please, who can, recheck it.

Currently I don't have now time to change the crowdfund.html for this script.

Just updated Script Generator for plotter :

V1.0.1

-added Linux version
-added binaries for linux and windows under bin sub-folder. Simply download all the files in either windows or linux and put them in same folder

For windows launch .exe.
For linux, launch run.sh. Or copy the 2 libs in a folder of your Library path and launch the binary file.

EDIT : Link https://github.com/Kurairaito/batch_plot_generator

hmm.. it's not possible to specific which hard drive to plot, is it?  Seems like this is only for C: drive?  I'd like to plot the 3TB external drive I have..

Hi, you should be able to copy the created .bat batch file and wplotgenerator.exe to the drive you want plotted, then run the batch file from there.

Exactly, and for the Linux version, actually you need to modify -d argument manually to change destination folder.

I will add an option in next version.

Hello,

are there any assets and/or market offers on Burstcoin yet? Where and how can I find it?

https://block.burstcoin.info (you'll need to go to an asset page first to see all assets)

Ah, now I got it, thank you! Well, people seem to do their best to hide it well... (so I would suggest to improve that page a bit)
