Been using your miner for somtime now however I keep getting exit on it and auto crashes after ages of use and no idea what keeps on causing it to crash.

in solo mode, there is a problem when you use special characters in the password.

When using non-optimized files and a small amount of RAM (in my case - 3 GB and 2 cores) - sometimes there is a lack of RAM (memory manager problem Win7)

I am currently using Windows 8.1 and have around 16GB of Ram. I have tried using the optimizer for files but didnt make any difference in it so maybe one of the other problems that are at be that is the cause to the problem

I think it's time that Timk came and spoke to us. Wonder what he'll say about this crapcoin next.....
Yes mate,I didn't see him for long time.May be we should PM him and ask him to write something on this thread just for fun?
Maybe even he became a believer in Burst and can't admit he was wrong?  My hope is he sold his coins for 100 satoshis which is what they were going for last we heard from him.

He was always a believer in Burst, it was some kind of weird backwards trolling going on Wink

Agreed, he jumped almost day one, had some issues setting things up, then FUD'd things to get the prices down so that he could buy instead. Not a bad plan, too bad burst is immune to FUD. A truly amazing coin needs no FUD protection, it's automatic.

Anyone know how expensive Resistive Ram will be in the long run?

I'm thinking that this could be huge from an energy and cost efficiency perspective for Burst.

If past tech is any indicator, at first it will be expensive as hell. I do not believe it will become widespread enough to drop in price in the near term.

Whatever he might say I just got me some more Smiley

Okay well I got it fixed, and now I am still having problems, the Burst.Today launcher still has that error, however when I tried to do the guide:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8298999

I am stuck at Step 4 "Double click run_dump_address.bat" and check address.txt, cause it says in the cmd prompt: "External commands not recognized." and closed the prompt immediately after that
(pic related soon, snapped the SS as it was fading away)

"java.exe", not "java". Remember you're in Windows.

+ added parameter "TargetDeadline": 1000000  (if exist - sets maximal deadline for sending to pool)
* added ability to sequential association paths:   "Paths":["C:\\plots","D:\\plots","E:\\plots\\+I:\\plots\\","G:\\plots\\","F:\\plots\\","H:\\plots\\"],

Lol thats helpfull to low core CPU's, isnt it? Now one can buy more HDD than cpu cores!

Burst has MUCH potential... Thanks developer!

I can't find a great guide for starting right now, but it will be up tomorrow.

Anything specific you have problems with?
These are my first 2 issues that I haven't been able to figure out (and yes I do have the newest Java):

You must edit file run.bat and others when you hava path to java and change all lines with string  "jre7" to new path to java 8 version.
