I have 50TB and i can not even get 12K per day. (No matter the pool i am using)

I ran into a similar problem recently... seems to be corrected when I reboot (verified over three reboots, now.)  I haven't figured out why yet, doesn't seem to be  clockskew or the drives getting  slower the longer the system is up...

dcct-miner on Ubuntu Trusty
I see same thing... used wplotgenerator.exe and blago's miner.  If I don't reboot daily, I can go for days without finding a block with 54TB
set your computer to auto reboot plus run miners on startup.

Hi regtable,
can you please tell me how to run miner from startup with mounting NTFS disks (with executable permissions)?
Because, now after restart, I must do all of this manually.
This is what I'm doing at the moment.

sudo su
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdh2 /home/mirny/1
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdb4 /home/mirny/2
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda2 /home/mirny/3
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdg2 /home/mirny/4
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdf2 /home/mirny/5
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdc2 /home/mirny/6
mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sde4 /home/mirny/7

cd /home/mirny/dcct

./mine_dev_v2.sh /home/mirny/1/plots /home/mirny/2/plots /home/mirny/3/plots /home/mirny/4/plots /home/mirny/5/plots /home/mirny/6/plots /home/mirny/7/plots

and other thing is that HDDs after restart are changing their positions, let say sdb4->sdd4, sda2->sdd2, and so on.
So every time I have to rewrite those positions to mount.
Running Ubuntu 14.04

Hi all, I am having an issue with wplotgenerator, I'm hoping someone is able to provide some advice.

I am plotting with an i7 4770k, I am able to reach 10,000-12,000 nonces/min without overclocking. My issue is that the plotter will start plotting in that range and then start dropping to 5,000 nonces/min, then 3,000 nonces/min, all the way down to around 700 nonces/min. This problem used to only happen once in a while but now I am having to restart the plotter every 20-30 minutes to stay in the 10k nonces/min range.

Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone find a way to keep it stable? I am running windows 8.
mine will not run for some reason

Are you getting any kind of error? What OS are you running. And do you have Java 7 installed? I had problems running Burst software with Java 8.

using
 java 8
win 7
24gb ram
wplot generator
staggers of 9+ crap out below that is just hammers using 2 mb ram lmao. il try java 7 and report back. thanks

JAVA 7 DIDNT HELP:-/
SETS PRIORITY TO LOW THEN WINDOWS CRASHES IT

I only found real stability when after installing windows 8. I had the same problem with windows crashing it. It was very frustrating. I saw some people on the hardware comparison spreadsheet were running windows 8 so I gave it a shot and everything ran without a hitch. Windows 8 and Java JDK 7u72 was the right combination for my system.

Also be sure you uninstalled Java 8 from your windows 7 setup before installing Java 7, all you need is the JDK.

Just wanted to post that I had similar problems when running Windows 7. Memory problems and freezing / crashing system due to memory filling up while plotting. I have ruled out hardware issue simply by switching to Linux and all problems vanished in an instance. There seems to be a bug/issue with memory management in Windows 7 and that is why Windows 8 or Linux works better.

Also, if you have a descent GPU, try using the GPU-plotter rather than the java based miner. It's faster and I didn't see the same issues with high memory usage.

This.

Win 7 is really hard to configure to run smoothly with Burst (but still possible with a number tweaks and good hardware). I would recommend using every other OS than Win 7.

However, a specific guide focusing on tweaks for Win 7 is on the on the road map for PR activities. No ETA is available though.

what happend with burst eu pool?

You mean uray's pool? It's apparently been down since block 41203 I think. Now I can't get it to load in my browser at all, just that green pinwheel thing going round and round.

I'm switching over to burst.ga until it's back online.

should consider http://cryptomining.farm/ big bonus at 475 miner...389 right now
[---]

How will the bonus be payed out? Anyone knows?

I think @475 miners he will transfer it to the pool balance

1.1 million

If that's true, it's pretty sick. The payouts will be massive.

Can you confirm, koko?

yes,
after 475 miner, all bonus will add to pool balance in 2day (2day for bonus time)

Thanks, that's a nice offer Cheesy

I have assets up for sale as I'm not satisfied with the payouts.  If there's an upcoming bonus like this then I'll pull out.

remember burst it is rising...

we are just at the beginning!!

I noticed all pools have slowed to a crawl about 20 minutes ago...... Could this be why?

the payout will be way better on the next asset round it will be 256tb mining for asset holders

then 1024tb...
then 2048tb...

All assets I had for sale has been bought before I had a chance to pull out.  Buyer probably saw your post. Cheesy
I guess I'll stop selling my remaining assets to give next round a chance.
