Sorry, I misread. That dll seems to be in Visual C++? I do have that dll anyhow, let me know if you want me to upload it.

Thanks for the info. I fix it by installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package

i try to use blago miner it give error "msvcr100.dll missing". How to solve this ?

Thanks

The needed DLLs are often included in his posted zips, but a few times it have only been the .exe.

Check out http://burstcoin.eu/download/14-blago%27s-burst-miner for the full zip. Also his repro: https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/

I downloaded the latest version full package (there are dll inside the zip file). I suspect the missing dll could be external program I need to install before I can use the miner ? E.g VB package ?

Looking at transactions it is quite clear that a very big part of transactions are just pools distributing coins to miners.

If anyone have ideas for what burst could be used for, ideas for companies, services, goods and stores, whatever... please share or go get that idea implemented... we need the burst coins to circulate, so we need more places that take burst and thus give owners a way to spend them (apart from exchanges)

If you can do half of a new enterprise or offering, shout out, and perhaps someone else can do the other half that you can't.  If you need funding, you can sell assets that you promise to pay part of the proceedings and get funding that way. There is probably a pretty solid first mover advantage , and  if burst becomes a bigger success, documented experience in building services will be sought after, and a source of good income.

just saying..

One idea might be a burst directory website that simply lists all places and services taking burst for payments, an easy way for newcomers to get an overview of what they can use the burst for, that they are going to buy / mine / whatever.

Another idea could be a website concentrated on showing information for burst investors. all sorts of information and graphs that might be useful as indicators for burst's health. Could also have a news feed with burst related news.

Not sure how you could make money off such websites, but in case burst one day is the big shit, such a website might be worth a lot.

Burst can be use for a lot of real life business activity just that burst lack PR and proper infographics that explain each unique function of burst in layman term. Businessman are not IT nerd, they need simple explanation in a form which can be understood in less than 5 mins. A good infographics can do the job well.

Information about burst using HDD to mine , energy saving (all those technical features) is not a good way to advertise burst to business. Showing them escrow , subscription , dividend paying asset , etc is a more effective way to get them interested (of course we have to show them how to use it. In the form of infographics which can be understood in less than 5 mins)

Describing how beautiful a women is and showing a picture of a beautiful women is 2 different approach.

We have here 750+ pages describing burst. If we have 750 pages of images describing burst , we will experience nirvana.

Burst has very big potential to go up in value because of untap PR. If burst PR is fully tapped and its still current price , we got a problem. Current price reflect lack of something. Probably a nice PR, new killer feature, user friendly wallet , etc.

Many months down the road when block reward got cut to 5,000 , burst could be like bitcoin "you wish u brought bitcoin @ $2-$50"

Market cap: $0 ?  Uh-oh.. looks like hit a new low.  That being said I'd happily take some free burst!!

Anyway, I'm just curious, who is in charge of the website?

That's Irontiga, and he's aware of the issues. I believe he's working on things. I told him I would even provide him with a new server on which to host the site if he needed. So I'm sure things will be fixed shortly.

i will give the pool from cryptomining now a try.

My Stats at the moment

30TB Plots, all Optimized.

24h on Uray US pool: 7800 Burst
24h on Urays SG poll: 6200 Burst

now just switched to cryptomining. more tomorrow.

so again 24h are over.

got from crytoming within 24h 5800 Burst.

24h is somewhat on a shorter side duration to come to any conclusion in my opinion.
I have tested Uray's SG & US pools + solo for 1 week each with 2x 30 TB & found out that Uray's SG pool is the best & can get almost same number of coins as solo may be +/- 10% but that's not much. I guess you should give atleast few days to come to a conclusion.

My plots are not optimized & they are made up of 16k stagger size with 8,00,000 nonce (~195 GB each plot & 18 such plots on 4 TB WD Purple HDDs Mining with Blago's latest miner)

Edit : I make ~11-12k coins per 30 TB / day on SG pools constantly for past 2 weeks now. May be the issue is with the optimization & that's why I haven't touched it after reading some weird experiences of other users with optimization tool.

I have also 30TB, in solo last 30 days i make 12970 Burst/day (average).  Not optimized.

The first 1600 qASIC package (160 MH/s) has been bought for as low as ~1.96 BTC, meaning we managed to buy it with the highest BTC/USD 24h average ratio possible (the time window lasted just 3 minutes, I need to buy a new F5 button on my keyboard) saving ~0.54 BTC out of the 2.5 goal which will be used for the next purchase!
But that's not all! Seems like we have a sponsor! (and he doesn't know I was going to thank him in public)
AizenSou is giving us, and only us, 140 qASICs for each package we buy because he simply loves Burst and believes in the BLTPS project, so we now have 1740 qASICs mining to sustain Burst value!
Keep the investments coming! We are set to grow only with your support!

This is an excellent start!  This project already came out ahead as far as number of qASIC package wrt BTC investment.  So far so good!

Doing my best to ensure profit and fast ROI to everyone Smiley
I sincerely hope many people join, the more we are the more we can shout what we think on the market.

balancer server restarting, may be a couple seconds where miners can't connect. We're finalizing a few settings, nothing to worry about!

The original news is inside the official thread, with a few links showing proofs that we are taking things seriously here. Go check it out!

There are still plenty of shares to be sold (next goal is 475, price is always 0.01 BTC each), so if you haven't join BLTPS yet and your curious about the project, every info is detailed in the official thread on BurstForum and I'm here to answer every question you might have.

Don't forget http://burst.ga which you can use the same miner as you have been on the other uray based pools. lol

To make a strong password on a linux box.
Install pwgen if it isn't already installed and create some passwords with
Code:
pwgen -s -y 60

use something like this for secure pass phrase..

http://www.guidgenerator.com/
TBH I trust more a password like
Code:
$cl/C;~|p9/$MX`+REm\$UDz(vRGuCXFj;t\NlK>YU":@FiVK;dK7i903gK*
as
Code:
{CC3B5D05-73B1-41AD-BB38-07F711BC6120}

But better as the normal generated ones aswell
