WTF burst, Y U NO rise.

Seriously everything this coin can is loosing value.
Nobody gives a shit about Burst, i will not sell my coins, because i´m still hoping it´s going up, but i don´t think so.

i recall such things in regards to bitcoin long ago. That being said, BURST may not make it. There are so many coins released every day now, that everyone wants to get rich quick, pump dump and move on. This coind does have a lot of support behind it, but as I have said before, I think it is a long term hold. I try to help the community here as much as I can, and I will not discourage anyone from this coin. But if it is quick profits that people are looking for, this probably is not the project for them. Cheers!

Any reason for the wallet to be stuck at block 19609?

Does anyone know if an unstable Overclock on the CPU or RAM can cause longer deadlines? 7 days without a block now and the only thing Ive changed is OCed the ram and CPU to previously rock solid settings for gaming.

I've setup a BURST pool at http://tompool.org:82, support available at http://tompool.org

All tested and working fine Smiley

Forgot to mention its running uray's V2 source.

uray do you plan to write 32-bit version of your miner? I have two 32-bit rigs and they still need to use java miner.

Burstcoin.io Pool Update

[ Planned Downtime due to Maintenance ]

I made some optimization on software side, so it will check nonce deadline faster. in exchange to reduce pools running cost, server performance need to be tuned down a little bit, therefor I need to make hardware adjustment to all running pool [ US , SG , EU ]

due to this adjustment, i need to shutdown all the pools for couple of blocktime (10-15 minutes), and server public IP might change because of hardware migration, so there is chance that you need to restart your miner (if your miner does not have auto resolve dns) after pool is up again to resolve to new public IP.

pool down time will be planned at :
block 23570 for US pool
block 23560 for SG pool
block 23550 for EU pool

all Pools restarted and now is up and running

please make sure that if you ping the pool hostname, it should reply from following IP address

US-Pool ( pool.burstcoin.io | pool-us.burstcoin.io | burst-pool.cryptoport.io   ) -> 54.215.212.49
SG-Pool ( pool.burstcoin.io | pool-sg.burstcoin.io | burst-pool2.cryptoport.io ) -> 54.169.74.107
EU-Pool ( pool.burstcoin.io | pool-eu.burstcoin.io | burst-pool3.cryptoport.io ) -> 54.171.106.108

an also please check your miner, most of the miner does not re-resolve IP from DNS if the public IP is changed,
if your pool has error, then restart it and make sure if you ping the host it reply from above IP, if it is not, you need to flush or clear your DNS cache

and also if you are still using java miner, please change to blago's miners or my miner if you can, those miners has better compatibility and less nonce submit error.

What is the formula to change basetarget to network size?
NetDiff = 2^34 / BaseTarget
I realized that NetDiff actually is number of terabytes of Burst network (by my count - there was 1 terabyte of plots at block #0)

I'm getting a "2"

I get quiet a few red lines about some plots being "locked?". But nothing uses the files beside the miner so I'm not sure what's going on.

This error occurs when the unexpected end of file.
Recalculate size/file name, reduce the "CacheSize".

faucet.burstcoin.info is gonna block ip's now....moving over to a different ip so may wanna clear dns cache and things(but wait till the move has happened, atm it is just offline)

I hope it helps getting coins out to those who are just getting started! It was a good BURST learning experience doing the development.
Yah, just to clarify, it was this guy who did it, so send him a few coins for thanks(i have)
Can someone confirm it's working please?
