So who is it that's mining all of these blocks? Bitmain or the devs?

So far only these three addresses hold any coins on mainnet:

* bm1qrp2fmpx675e5f5e9vwpscl8e08wpn4wqhrv0zt: 228,937.5BTM (555 blocks, 27.30%)
* bm1qmyn5yn6w3sjzgc948rcycfnkh9uy96d8a8h25q: 609,262.5 BTM (1477 blocks, 72.65%)
* bm1qcxg0w7c70tdd46t7dxn204mkyeyudcz063s49e: 412.5 BTM (1 block, 0.05%)

i like that bytom isn't driven by hype and has massive price swings.  its just solid steady growth and progress.
yes ,we do what we should do

This is a fragment from the site bytom.io

"POW algorithm that is friendly to AI ASIC-chips
Use a new POW algorithm, Matrix and convolution calculation is introduced
into the hashing process so that the miners can be used for AI hardware acceleration services."

So bytom can be mine.
Can anyone tell me how and where?
GPU OR ASIC miners ,many mining pools support bytom mining now

BYTOM, the team of encrypted money projects, is very low-key, but the product is steadily developing, a latent coin with a long line of cattle.
thank you for you praise.We will keep moving

If you can't sync, go into %appdata%\Bytom and delete addrbook.json

I've been mining since block 1400 with 4 nodes, no dice. Devs confirmed that ASICs are on the network already said that only CPU/ASIC is currently supported, GPU will need to wait for the community or the team to write code for it.

Still unable to sync after deleting addrbook.json

Dear subscriber,

We are proud and happy to announce that we are launching the all-new Antminer B3, a new Antminer model for mining Bytom, at 11AM (25 April, GMT+8).

The Antminer B3 can deliver a hashrate of 780H/s while consuming 360W of power.

Click here to learn more or to place your order after the scheduled time of launch. Correct price will appear after the scheduled time of launch.

We wish you all a happy mining experience.

Regards,

The Bitmain team

Really?

that sounds like scam.

The announcement is right however buying from a crooked organization like Bitmain is wrong. They are making machines for their own profits and when they are done, they sell it to the unsuspecting customers who realizes pretty soon that they can not make any profit and just buying it to make that crappy institution rich.

Right, but in the case of bytom wrong I think. The mainnet was released 24.04 and almost the same time they start to sell the B3 miner and they will ship out 01.05 they say. Bytom made a deal and paid them to do so. It looks like bitmain is not doing mining operations on their own this time and sell the used machines later to happy soon to become unhappy customers. Example: the ethash miner ...

Bytom makes the original lack of liquidity, can be easily converted, split and tokens, and thus circulate globally, making its value fully discovered in the global free market.

Pawsome
Almost a year BTM, and I'm happy that BTM keeps improving, I'm sure that the end of the year $ 10 price can be achieved of course depending on the price of ETH does not drop below $ 500.

BTM slept in a big bull market, and no one could see it. The exchange was even more disliked. The bear market was led, and the horse became more than original.

It seems that the only way you will be able to mine this coin at all is when there is a pool or if you buy an asic from bitmain. I thought that since the mainnet just launched, mining would be some sort of profitable. I was wrong, especially since asics are already taking every block. My mood quickly went from  Grin to  Huh

This coin seems monopolized/centralized from day 1. Sad, cuz the project seemed fairly decent. I'm sure price will go up to foolish levels and I'll miss out on the fun, but this launch does not seem fair (and the community used to castrate projects like this in the past).

May be you also know how to make a Bytom wallet load the CPU more than only 22-25%?

And does the wallet need some ports to be opened to be a Bytom node available to other Bytom wallets?

Sync'd now too. Seems like only CPU mining is available using the wallet, unless anyone else has figured out how to use GPUs...

Anyone successfully syncing to mainnet yet?

I am starting to.

Will try to mine some coins with Ryzen 1700...
