Alright apples out. Google play?....ima do some research...if anyone else finds out post it up here..

Go

Could something be set up to mine Apple game center data to payout coin2 after the fact? Like the coin2 arcade site handles the payout based on game center scores? Probably complicated if even possible. Just throwing it out there.

Also thinking if any app game devs want to implement a coin2 in game purchase option? For the benefit of the dev. Is that possible?
Wheelz not sure it is a practical option, but I have sent you a pm on something else.

i can see google, I doubt Apple will let much fly. they are so anal! It is just now they are allowing apps with bitcoin function. not sure what they are though. One reason I'm a android man! Smiley  Apple is a good population base. just cracking their plocies will be a challenge.

Apple allows apps that display bitcoin balances but does not allow anything that allows payment or transfer of funds so in reality even though technically possible apple does not allow it.

Don't worry, we already developed a Coin2 back-end (PHP) which will work with any games.
Have you any docs? Is it a web service or PHP classes for whichever server needs them?

Apologize for the lack of knowledge but does this include app based games u can download from say a google play store?

Other than apple/ googles policies, there is probably no reason why a game app couldn't have C2 rewards that could be "cashed in" when the user went online but the app writer would have to include the appropriate code within the app. The problem then would be how you authenticate to the VPS server and "prove" that the pay out request is genuine rather than some hacker looking for free C2. I suppose you could also build into the server some rules that allow you to restrict the number and size of payouts to each specific C2 address by a registered game in say a 24hr period limiting the potential damage if a hacker did manage to get access. But I'm sure Nelson has this all sorted. Like yourself I was just trying to get an idea of how it worked and therefore what it might be capable off.

Honestly I don't think so because the game source code should be modifiable to include Coin2 payment system.

If a game is released under Open Source licence, we could modify it to fit our needs and include the required code.

If a game developer agree to use Coin2, he could make the programming to add payout function and use the Coin2 back-end.

So if I get a game developer to modify their code post release that should be fine too. Simple app games are huge right now.

Is it possible to have gamers pay a little c2 for fps type games where there can be a winner take all for apps?

Also thinking if any app game devs want to implement a coin2 in game purchase option? For the benefit of the dev. Is that possible?

Sorry, I don't have skills and technical details about the Coin2 back-end.

I'm just able to understand that it's a process running on a VPS and using the Coin2 Daemon.

n3lz0n is responsible of this project and I suggest to you to contact him directly to get more information.

He explained to me that it can run with other coins as well.

Your PHP skills will be welcome for implementation within games. Smiley

My 2 cents for the day:

99.9 percent of the alt coins will not get past just used as a speculative trading plaform for a couple of weeks/months.

There lies a need for someone to have a want to use a medium that makes a particular coin thats tied into that, valuable.

Coins that want theirs to be a vendors preffered coin as payment will fail.  Why would a vendor use this new coin rather than bitcoin. If im a vendor and want to dip my toes in the crypto water im choosing bitcoin hands down.

This is where gaming comes in. If a coin team and get an intrest into their game that gets adopted by the masses making it "valuable" to have that coin in order to incentivise a player for their accomplishments without a choice of being paid in bitcoin then there is a chance of success.  The more people that play the game the more demand there will be for the coin. The more demand for the coin without a significant supply increase will lead to a sustainable price increase.

Now this is where coin2 needs to adopt as many games to tie their coin into. The gaming community is a HUGE market.  Chain of command can be the kickoff of more games but this MUST be successful in order for the coin to survive.

I think if we can corner the USE of coin2 in these games is critical.

Not gambling. The USE is where the future is.

Kingarbin I understand easier said then done. I myself am not a coder so you will never hear me say this needs to be done today. These are only thoughts I have. And am always willing to promote in anyway.

Ok im off my pedistal.......

So I guess I am basically asking if you can or would want to incorporate c2 into my game or not. It's still early in the production, but I have done a substantial amount of the graphics already and I think it could be completed pretty quickly. The programmer I'm working with is using Unity. Does this sound good to anyone?
I sent this message to a few of the devs directly.

I think that the decision is really yours. What the community really need are as many games/applications to be integrated as possible. Personally, I would be deeply grateful for you setting an example and would encourage any others who can to do likewise. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

Well I'm for it if the devs are willing to devote at least some of the surplus coins to point based game payouts. Myself and the programmer I work with can handle making this game and getting out there, but neither of us have a clue about how to integrate crypto functionality. So it's kind of a mute point if the devs aren't interested and willing to work on it.

I guess I'm hoping that some of the back end work that has already been done can be re-purposed for a simpler game without having to start from scratch.

I've been thinking about the integration issue & methods for getting C2 into other games. Just wondering if these ideas could help ...

To begin with, Instead of integrating C2 wallet access into new games, C2 Prize Payouts could be handled via a link & authentication code.
At the end of the game, a splash screen with C2 claim details could appear which would lead the player to a C2 players portal to claim their C2.
Probably not the ideal long term solution for all games, but possibly a short-term starting point.

Also, I see there are quite a few open-source Flash Games around... I wonder if any of these could be considered for C2 integration?
Adding C2 Easter Eggs and/or High Score rewards should be relatively straight forward if the C2 are claimed as above via a link & code.

or perhaps players could enter their c2 address into the game

and when they win some c2 the game sends info to a c2 payout server and zing the coins are sent to the players wallet

to get games involved some incentivised program could be offered perhaps
