What we need in order for any of this to work is a dedicated programmer, they must know C++, Java, and PHP. I'm no dev, don't call me that, I am more of a project manager. My official title on the board is games project manager, and we have been looking for someone to help kalisto for awhile. Don't get me wrong he still is working on something that can be used eventually, but he has just been ignoring the fact we need networking worked on, how would you all feel about just having the console enabled in the game so you can manually connect to a server to play. This is a temporary solution suggested by him, at least until someone is brought in that can handle the networking code. I also agree that it is a good idea to have this arcade site going, get in contact with nelson to have him help you integrate the payment backend to the games.

King, how about telling everyone exactly where everything is at? Do you have a critical path analysis you can share? Because there is a lot of talk about what 'we' need, but 'we' at the moment refers to the board.
Need programmers? Make CoC an open source project and release information.
Hard find the right tool when you don't really know what the job is.

If this was possible you may find that we have the expertise to help in some or all areas within the community. I may be able to help with any PHP work.

Sounds cool though. you can give bigger amounts for harder levels. start off with people earning fractions. or have it where you earn a type of coin in the game, then you can cash out into c2.1  like 100 in game coins = 1 coin2.1  just an example.

Nickquest, do you know what functionality you would require from the interface? I'm guessing you are looking simply at sending and receive coins? I assume this will be kalisto's first question.

Well I'm for it if the devs are willing to devote at least some of the surplus coins to point based game payouts. Myself and the programmer I work with can handle making this game and getting out there, but neither of us have a clue about how to integrate crypto functionality. So it's kind of a mute point if the devs aren't interested and willing to work on it.

I guess I'm hoping that some of the back end work that has already been done can be re-purposed for a simpler game without having to start from scratch.

How many coins do you think you will need?

Honestly I have no idea. If the game were starting from scratch with a new coin it would be the whole thing. I think it just needs to be enough so that people see it as a good oportunity and not play for hours and only make a few pennies worth of coins. It needs to be discussed. I just don't have the answer.

Yes I was thinking similarly.

Looks like it's down to the devs then. KingArbinV/ Kalisto perhaps you could post details on integration here so that any others who wish to look at integrating know what is involved and to save having to answer the same questions several times?

So I guess I am basically asking if you can or would want to incorporate c2 into my game or not. It's still early in the production, but I have done a substantial amount of the graphics already and I think it could be completed pretty quickly. The programmer I'm working with is using Unity. Does this sound good to anyone?
I sent this message to a few of the devs directly.

I think that the decision is really yours. What the community really need are as many games/applications to be integrated as possible. Personally, I would be deeply grateful for you setting an example and would encourage any others who can to do likewise. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

I'm sure soon you will see some progress in this area! Smiley  I can't say anything yet though.

Any chance of someone with web design skills fixing up a site similar to kickstarter for Coin2 integrated games. paid on delivery . funded by all

Why not use something like Wordpress to get the site working? Your main requirements would then be a domain, a hosting server, and someone with graphics ability plus of course the projects to list.
