I'm going to suggest again what I have suggested before. That coin2 needs some simple 2d arcade games with coin payouts. Games that can be made very quickly, but are fun and addicting to play. Think Flappybird or Timberman type simplicity but with coin2 payouts. People play the hell out of those kind of games without any reward and they are dead simple. Games that have a mobile app as well as web browser playable versions would be nice.

We should use all or most of the surplus coins for payout of these games. Reward people's scores and they will feel more like the coins are worth something because they had to work for them. We need to get the coins flowing again, get people interested!

No more just waiting for Chain of Conflict for an indeterminate amount of time. People can only speculate for so long.

In the mean time let's get a coin2 arcade site up and running like pronto. I can make the graphics and possibly build the front end of the site in Muse if need be.

I'm developing a 2d arcade game called Hitbox. Images linked below. I really wanted to launch my own cryptocoin to be entirely distributed via this game and others to follow later. Also a retro style arcade site for those games, but if this course interests anyone here, maybe it could have coin2 integration instead.

So I guess I am basically asking if you can or would want to incorporate c2 into my game or not. It's still early in the production, but I have done a substantial amount of the graphics already and I think it could be completed pretty quickly. The programmer I'm working with is using Unity. Does this sound good to anyone?
I sent this message to a few of the devs directly.

what exactly do you need NickQuest to get this rolling?

I can't comprehend why more people don't do this, not just for coin2, but for coins in general. Great Idea nickquest

Awsome. c2 arcade is a must. I agree the rest of the surplus needs to be used to get this running.  Guys we NEED to take this up. Integrate these 2d games as well. Damb near knocking on the door. Just open it up.

Again this needs to be taken up on....Nickquest great work!

King...um quick response please. That was a very cryptic comment from glen. Are the new guys hired taking over for kalistos work?  I think a quick layout of the road ahead would calm peoples nerves.

Agreed. This is the second time someone has felt the need to step down and indicates that there are some serious problems with the committee.

This happens, yet its not the time to be down! Good things are coming. Just you wait! Smiley

Good comments as always guys. Your support for Coin2 is admirable.

Unfortunately it seems with kalisto as head dev none of this will be possible.

I've found out today that no work has been done for 2 weeks on the game as he is either doing nothing or working on other projects. It's the last straw for me so I'm going to have to walk away.

This attitude from him, towards the CoC project, has been the same since I got to know the board a few weeks ago. There's never any progress.

I know this is not what any of you want to hear and I'll probably be flamed for saying it but it is what it is.

There are still a lot of talented people working on the game so I hope for the community that the whole thing can come together.

I wish you all luck.

Glen, rather than walk away as others have felt the need to do in the past is there nothing we could do as a community and committee to move the situation forward.

Roslin.....wow thanks.  Thats some amazing footage. Gameplay seems on point with industry standard. Cant wait to see all the original content at completion. Might have given me an itch to buy some more....

"Gameplay seems on point with industry standard" You cannot imagine how awesome is that.

I am a player from 90's. I played Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, Doom2, Heretic, Unreal, UT, and others ... FarCry1,2,3. Crysis...
I know what mean a GREAT FPS game.

This Engine ane Coin2 devs will = awesome game.

I will record a longer footage for you today.
But you should run the game on your own and see it!!

We should send an e-mail to gamespot.com.

But imagine if CoC evolved to allow users to create and sell content for C2 (levels, character models, outfits, mods) (with the devs taking their cut, like a CoC App Store). Just think about it for a second........

Hi there entire FPS modding community, don't like the current flavour of CoC? no worries, create a mod and distribute it for C2!
Boom!
CryptoSteam.

Great post!!!

The potential of CoC Is phenomenal but remember C2 is  even more than CoC.

Yes we have been promised regular updates and a road plan but there is nothing to stop members going out and creating other games/ apps that use C2 while we are waiting. Every application game that uses C2 drives the coin and community forward and helps build the network size.

OMG

Did you see what's on Mintpal?

That was only 300k coins or so. There simply was zero buy support.

And to put things into perspective, cryptoworld is collapsing right now, pretty much every second coin on mintpal is dying more or less, not even taking the graveyard named bittrex into account.

Still, that doesnt make holding much fun (I do).

Posted on this a little while ago.

Value is determined by network size.

All these coins are dropping and will continue dropping because there is nothing to them other than changes to BTC aimed at miners (scrypt, scryptN, scryptJane, X11, X13, PoS, etc) or a 'feature' or two (anon, coloured coins, etc) so the size of their network is contracting.

Can you think of any coin that actually has a credible plan to increase network size (increase the number of users)? Wink

Remember! The market can be wrong longer than you can stay solvent! (but were all holding and staking so I guess solvency doesn't apply, lol)

On a side note. I'm a fan of decentralised everything! CoC will be amazing, no doubt.

I totally agree with you, thats not the case too often btw. Solvency is not an issue, I will never be forced to sell my coins and I have only like 3% of my coins in c2.1 (around 1M - probably more soon), most is BTC.

I wonder if people will ever wake up and begin to understand how useless most coins are, probably never. The most ridiculous thing is anon. OMG the NSA is on you heels because you moved coins to bittrex (since 99% of those coins have no other purpose). Anon can be a usefull feature (or become the opposite) for a few coins in the future but only AFTER the coin has any other use than trading.

I am not worried at all if it sounded that way. Like all coins this coin can fail, but hey, this is a risk I am willing to take. And it is the only coin I want to see succeed, not because of my money (ok, I admit it, that may have a role too), but because I want those guys to succeed after so much trash has been thrown at them.

As for coins that are trying to expand their user base, there are a few. Maybe Pinkcoin for example, they are so underrated  - maybe because of the name. But thats what makes coin2 stand out and why I hold and trade this coin.

is that normal?

Wallet unlock
24 hour
nothing staking?
If you have just installed the wallet I would reboot the pc, restart and unlock the wallet. Had the same problem on both installs I did before.
