Here is the .conf file we use:

listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
maxconnections=100
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
addnode=54.186.134.64
addnode=23.97.129.104
rpcport=55887
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

Also remember it should be named "CornerstoneCoin.conf".  Sometimes checking the exact spelling will uncover the problem.

Some good opportunities exist at our main exchange partner AllCrypt.  You can pick up some CCX at cheap LTC prices or sell millions for 20 LTC satoshi each.  Happy trading!

coin dead?
Developers, you are doing something?

CCX is far from dead.  I'll agree things are a little slow at the moment but the coin is working wonderfully with quick transactions and reliable PoS staking.  One of our team members has put together some of his visions for the coin and where it is headed here: http://www.cornerstonecoin.org/develop/roadmap/.

Nice to see that. You should maybe add that into the OP on this thread too so everyone who views the thread can see it easily

I believe there is a serious issue among PoS coins. If CCX focuses on the long term, such an issue need to be taken cared of...

I recently encountered a situation with some PoS coin, say, XX. I would like to send 37000 XX somewhere but always got "Error: Transaction creation failed." no matter how I tried. After googling the error message, I found that sending in a smaller amounts of XX could work. My first successful transaction was about 10000 XX. Then, 8000, 6000, ... working amount became smaller every time. Finally, I sent the total amount of 37000 XX with about 8 transactions and paid the transaction fees every time.

I don't really understand the cryptocurrency technologies and mechanisms. Such a situation seems happening to Bitcoin and Dogecoin, too, according to my googling result. However, I do believe this issue becomes (far more) worse and more frequently seen for PoS coins because proof-of-staking generates a lot of blocks with tiny amounts of coins. One's PoS wallet will then have a balance consisting of a very complicated block structure compared to a PoW wallet. Bitcoin, litecoin, and dogecoin are all PoW coins. None of the PoS coins are really popular at present. So, currently few people hit the problem and suffer from inconvenience and paying transaction fees.

I wonder if dev could look into such an issue and somehow prevent it from happening in the future. Otherwise when CCX becomes more and more popular, CCX users/adopters may find such an issue limits their capability of sending CCX.

http://www.engadget.com/2014/06/26/youtube-upgrades/

"YouTube is upgrading to 60fps, adding a tip jar for donations and much more"

Not sure what will happen, but when YouTube releases the details on the "tip jar," perhaps we can connect CCX to YouTube tip jar. I believe it's not only about tipping but also about CCX connecting to business in the real world, and therefore making CCX a true, functional currency.

I just found that the multipool for yellowcoin ( http://yellowcoinpool.com ) was created by cryptobear. I like its simplistic design: light-weight, automatic payout, no need for miners to register accounts.

I took the liberty to PM him to consider if he is willing to create a multipool for CCX. I hope you guys don't mind.

Awesome!  Thanks so much.

cryptobear hasn't replied my yet... and probably never I guess.

No problem.

I've been looking for multipool open source for days but found nothing. I guess possessing or having the ability to write multipool source itself is highly profitable. The same goes to coin exchange...
