Stuck trying to sync the client.

Already downloaded and imported the bootstrap file and added the node list provided by Miner2525 above. This got me close but I am still 4 weeks behind with no connections.

Also added nodes at http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/CLAM/nodes.php

Any suggestions or nodes that are always up?

Well, the quickest way would be just to get whole block chain for this coin; so I have made copy of it for you (and others) up to actual of block number @1628950  (Sat aug. 5 2017).
Peers file included.
You can download it=> unzip=> put into right folder - and job done.
Don't forget to copy your wallet.dat file before, if you have some coins already.

link (~1,7GB): https://mega.nz/#!nMl0FJKb!yes7z_tiu98ryZbvOKz2qYw7bFFjOx28YDu5XOFN6GU

Good luck
Ps. tips welcome Clam: xCxuTViFx5rhJ7YRKnKBAs6EkUUenZPpFS

It's a fucking shame that the other half of the CLAM holders/services are to stupid to stake their coins.

It's good for those of us who do stake. We'd be earning half as much if twice as many CLAMs were trying to stake.

I'd be interested in some txids if anyone makes a withdrawal from Poloniex. I'm curious whether they're still processing the faucet dust outputs or ignoring them.

Just made a test withdrawal form polo, it works with no issue, and very fast - in about 1 minute Clams arrived. So no worry about processing Clams by polo atm.

@dooglus:  TX for you send via. PM, to you could check what you need.

Thanks. I've been sent two Poloniex withdrawal transactions now. One had lots of dust spam inputs and paid over 100 times too much fee, and the other had only two large inputs and paid the correct amount of fee. So I'm just as confused as before. Smiley

I clicked around on Poloniex this morning and found that 13 of their 64 altcoin wallets (that's 20.3% of them) are showing that same message.

These are currently down: BCN BTM BURST GNO GNT LSK NXC REP RIC SBD SC STEEM XVC

Yesterday LTC was also showing the same message but today it isn't, so I guess they're working on stuff.

This is why I want an exchange on Just-dice or FreeBitcoins... at least we would know what the fuck is going on.

Still no word on anything from my front  Angry
looks like a bad sign...
should I move my btc & ltc balance out of poloniex
and anyone know where I can send my USDT balance?
I traded this btc/usdt pair without familiarizing myself with it  Grin

Dooglus, how long do we wait before we leave negative trust here on Bitcointalk would you say?

Perhaps they would at least respond?

Poloniex states there is some issues with CLAM atm.

"CLAM is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the CLAM team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling."

Is this only for their exchange or is it affecting all wallets?

Only for their exchange.

Does anyone know how to contact whoever is responsible for the CLAM wallet at Poloniex?

I've tried PM'ing OldManKidd on IRC. I've tried messaging Mike-Poloniex on reddit. I've tried tweeting @poloniex. There's no trollbox, and #poloniex won't let me talk...

It's odd that they've not reached out to the CLAM developers, last I heard.

I've reached out to MickD on twitter.  He has been great at getting issues solved in the past.

Hmm... is there any other exchange that trades with CLAM / BTC pairs?

I like this link:

    https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/clams/#markets

It shows that BitTrex is the 2nd biggest BTC/CLAM market. I guess soon it could be the biggest one. Or maybe traders will be happy to continue using Poloniex. If all you're doing is trading CLAM/BTC to make a profit it doesn't matter if you can't deposit or withdraw CLAM - it seems most CLAM traders keep their CLAMs on the exchange all the time, based on the number of CLAMs that aren't staking.

Take a look at the CLAM "rich list" http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/CLAM/richlist.php and you'll see that only 3 of the biggest 30 addresses have ever staked a single block. I'm guessing that a lot of the other 27 are Poloniex addresses.
