I joined the crowdsale on June 9th. I bought NVOs with ETC and ETH. However, now, the webpage does not accept my password. Trying to get a new one and it even does not recognize my email. Trying to contact the support and I do not get any reply, not even an automatic reply. What?s going on?

Thanks

I can sign with my Bitcoin escrow address or with the ETH or ETC addresses to proof my payments to NVO

Just keep trying... but the good news for you that it should not matter if you lose access to the webpage. This is because the tokens will be sent to the addresses you deposited funds with. Just keep those and the private keys carefully until you regain access.

Thanks,
Today better. I got a reply from support. However, I am still out. They offer me to try the  'forgot password' button. Of course I did that several times but  I wastold that my e-mail address was unknown. Today, slighty better, but still not right, I get the message "Please check your emails for a confirmation email." But I keep not getting any email.
Support also offers me to join the slack, but I also tried that several times since yesterday , but I still did not get the invitation in my inbox, neither in the spam folder.
So, nothing. I will wait for the token distrubution and I hope the NVOs to be in my scrow bitcoin address. Anyway, I found all this a little bit weird....

hi total newb here learning about cryptos!

i tried buying into the crowdsale right before it ended. couldn't find any clear barney style instructions but i think/hope i did it right. i made a wallet with counterwallet and uploaded my address to the green circle:

https://image.ibb.co/hCXzf5/nvo2.jpg

and then i sent all my ETH from coinbase to the address in the red circle. will i be the laughingstock idiot newb for the day or did i actually do this right and will be receiving tokens? thanks in advance for the help! Grin

Looks correct to me. Good luck!

It looks like the ICO is over! I'll do a tally of the results in terms of BTC and USD.

BTC2,894.30425629

$7,140,798.51808

Or $0.476053234667/ BTC0.00019295 per NVOT.

Someone may want to double check my math though.

Yep looks about right to me too: I just did the same quick "back of the envelope" tally using the numbers for each altcoin on the top of NVO website and multiplying by current (approximate) dollar-values for each coin from coinmarketcap.com... and I came up with $7,164,388.36

So, dividing that dollar total by 15 Million NVO tokens would allocate each one starting out its life at about $0.48 cents value.

And assuming current approximate bitcoin dollar value about $2500 it should mean crowdsale participants will get something just a tad over 5,000 NVOT tokens per each 1 BTC invested.

Of course, final-official numbers will have to come from NVO devs and/or verified by escrow holders, etc so don't quote me on this LOL but just for now looks like this is approx where we'll end up.

I sent Ripple over 12 hours ago and it still has yet to show up...I'm getting nervous.

Can someone from NVO please address this? Because you seem to be ignoring these concerns  Sad
It looks like a lot of people do not understand how cryptocurrencies work (not that Ripple is one). It does not matter at all what some random number on a website says. If you sent to an escrow address, and it has been confirmed, then your funds have arrived. The Ripple API does not seem to be functioning. Check back tomorrow or so.

It's not your job to GAF about what people do and do not understand. And yeah, sorry but numbers on a screen are kinda, like, super important; if I throw 1k worth of bitcoin in my Poloniex exchange and that "number on a website" says 0, that's cause for concern.

You have my money and I have no proof of receipt. You are asking us to trust you...on a cryptocurrency forum. Oh the irony.

The correct response is "sorry guys, bear with us as we get our sh*t together."

No idea how ripple works. Never used it, never will, but if your TX confirmed then they got them and you're good to go.

hello, can someone help me, i have sent bitcoin from electrum but i used my public keys not knowing i had to use my private keys as this is the first ico that has needed my private keys, so will i still get my investment? shall i add my private keys now or will that effect it? thanks in advance

You needed to send your bitcoins from your address to the address at the bottom of the OP. If you know your private key that's all you need. You don't ever need to tell someone else your private keys in any instance.

This is really marvelous and its something to be proud of. Your maths is as good from my position as the only thing that will prove otherwise is the issue of volatile nature of the price of bitcoin which might affect the calculation you put up there but at the same time I am happy to be part of making this a reality.

one of my BTC transactions is still waiting for confirmation, that's okay, right?
Yes.

Do not invest anything anymore, or your funds are likely to be lost. Anything sent after the crowdsale has finished will not be counted. Any funds waiting confirmation (with reasonable fees) will be counted.

Hey, I sent some ripple today about 5 hours ago, but it still doesn't show any change to my balance.
I also noticed that the counter on top of nvo.io is stuck at 562663.70 XRP.

Hi,
Just decided to join the crowdsale, but there is no time to transfer BTC to other wallet ...i have only mycelium wallet....
Is it a good ideea to send from mycelium ?

That's where I'm sending my BTC from. As long as you have the private key you're good to go. You'd better send that as a priority payment though!

Hey guys, I sent ETH from Coinbase to the escrow address provided and supplied my private BTC wallet address.
The transaction on coinbase shows confirmed with 52+ confirmations but in my NVO.io dashboard ETH next to my private contribution ETH address still shows 0.00 ETH.  Huh

What does this mean??? Any help will be much appreciated!
It takes 1 hour on average, but it can take longer. There is absolutely no need to concern yourself with numbers on the dashboard. Just stay calm and look tomorrow.

is it always like this that? i can't see the amount of BTC i transfered to the escrow address?
Yes, there is no BTC balance on the dashboard.

will i no receive my tokens on two addresses?
If you send from address A, then you get tokens on address A (for Bitcoin obviously). Optimally you'd only use 1 address to avoid having to keep safe multiple keys.

I participated in the NVO crowdsale sending btc using Electrum Wallet. The address that was used to send from is now erased ( Electrum does this and I did not realize before it was too late). This means that I do not longer control it. The tokens will therefore be sent to an address I do not have the private key to.
What do I do? Can I change recieving address?
No. Electrum does not delete anything, it merely *hides it*. Learn how to export the private key from Electrum (which is what you should have done before even investing).
