Took a few hours for the website to update for me. What you gave was your public key, when they distribute the NVO you must find your private key and import that to their website. Just be patient for the BTC you deposited to show up though.
The Dashboard on NVO.IO doesn't track the Bitcoins deposits, it is not required because of the escrow address, anyone can check the state of its transaction on the blockchain directly.
The most important is not to send from wallet services like blockchain.info, coinmama or exchanges like poloniex, bittrex, or services like gambling. The bitcoins must be sent from the entered address on the dashboard, and this address have to be a private bitcoin address whom you own the private key.
Because you will receive the Tokens into the address you send from.
One last question, why does the bitcoin escrow address not have a balance next to it? I sent BTC there.
It doesn't have a balance because originally, people were confused about it, and though it was their address.
I really hope the devs stagger their crypto sells at the conclusion of this ICO.
Also, I think if I ever manage to start up a coin and go ICO I will definitely figure out a way to either explain better or code around the whole "can't fund ICO from exchanges" thing, it is not that complicated once understood but half the thread is about this and I'm pretty sure they could have raised a lot more funding without the confusion. Anyway, a day out and nvo looks like it's going to be a funding success, here's to the devs following through on their plans for a future exchange!
Thanks for the feedback, you are right somehow, but the problem is that it is not as easy as what you think, there is a lot of users who still relies on web services to use Bitcoin, that's why the concept of the crowdsale is kind of difficult to understand for some. Usually you login, click on some buttons, and then you have address to send to, after that you have your tokens. The NVO crowdsale is different.

I have the same question. I send bitcoin yesterday. Transaction is confimed by bitcon network. But there is no bitcoin balance in nvo.io no zero no nothing. Why? Alcoins show just zero balance and they should because I have not made any deposit by them. But why there is no bitcoin balance?

ETH is disabled on Poloniex. You know what? I'm going to double up my investment on NVO today. What the hell. Anything is better than centralized exchanges telling you what you can and cannot do with your own money. They're basically banks without the government backed insurance.
Yes i heard about it, i am sorry for the guys who have ETH stuck there, it is really bad for ETH as most of its volume is coming from Poloniex. Yesterday even coinbase had issues.
Did this get extended by another day or something?
No, always refer to the timer in
https://nvo.io
Do you already know at which time the exchange-rates of altcoin to BTC will be determined? Or will you publish them at some time? Because at the moment there are so many changes on the market (
) and it would be interesting to see which rates you are calculating with
At the end of the crowdsale we will get the rate to calculate the conversion, after that, we will check all the balances and calculate the price of the token.
When you make deposit to BTC escrow address does anything show up on your NVO dashboard to confirm received?Deposit has confirmed but no message of it etc?
Thank you.
I did not receive anything either, but I do not think it is needed, as long as your transaction is there, everything is fine.
On a different topic, I have a question, since the crowdsale is about to end, what it is going to happen if someone sends a transaction but the crowdsale ends before getting a confirmation? Does he receive his money back? Or since the transaction was sent before the end of the crowdsale he will get his tokens?
Yes, as long as it have been sent.

Yeah, a decentralized exchange is definitely needed so we can retain control of our coins and hopefully avoid another Mt Gox type situation.
Thanks for your support kolloh.
I joined the crowdsale on June 9th. I bought NVOs with ETC and ETH. However, now, the webpage does not accept my password. Trying to get a new one and it even does not recognize my email. Trying to contact the support and I do not get any reply, not even an automatic reply. What?s going on?
Thanks
I can sign with my Bitcoin escrow address or with the ETH or ETC addresses to proof my payments to NVO
