Any time frame on when y'all are going to put that exchange up not saying I want to sell just want to know what the market would value this coin I have been mining...

is GPU mining allowed? How to configurate it?

you're a fucking idiot..

this is probably the same dev as the pink dog.

this might also be another one of his coins:

Dear BitPotus, this is your second strike in trying to defame our project with baseless accusations. Insults and personal attacks will also not be tolerated. On strike three, all your existing and future posts will be removed.

As for the accusation - this project as well as its team members are not related to any other altcoin development project.
We will also try to recompile Windows binaries with (original Litecoin) mining code removed, so it doesn't trigger such false warnings.

This is a false positive. Three of the reports say it's a bitcoin miner which is technically true. If you don't trust us, compile it from source and you'll get the exact same windows binaries (cross compile from ubuntu).
Hope this project can list on exchange soon. I still mining BCO Wink

The reason why we created a non-premined and non-ICO coin was to finance our business idea. An ICO is an incalculable risk and can be considered illegal in the United States and other countries, thus creating a public mineable coin and also mining yourself as a project founder is the only way of staying legal. We think it is important that a mineable coin is fairly distributed to early adopters.

Our development team and our marketing team (on hold until devs finish the platform) are all aware of the situation and are happy to work for free until market price discovery actually pays for our time. We are very convinced that the product we are creating has actual and real value and the free market will honor that.

coin without premine and ico its good , and words about "digital currency to finance a new blockchain revolution"  its good too.

lets see how it will be in future, but for now its just another altcoin with 0 chances adding to good exchange.

Sometimes I was thinking if it is real good with coin without icon and premined. Assuming dev love to do free job, but who gonna to pay the bill of coin's domain name and hosting?

Humble apologies for our lack in communication - we're very hard at work to reach our first milestones. Unlike others, we prefer not to over-promise things, and we'd rather wait for development of the planned features to be actually done. We expect to announce the final business plan and have news regarding our exchange platform in about 2-3 weeks.

In the meantime, we can only suggest that you keep mining and keep the faith, as some of you already have. Something great is coming!

well i mined some coins. I'll wait for the updates about the plataform. keep the info coming atleast one post per week.

Hope dev(s) come on soon and give us anything for an update.

Dev(s) is/are to incompetent to make correct OP so I wouldnt expect to much... and silence is never a good sign.
I'll gladly apologize if I'm wrong but block reward went from 512 to 384 coins now while OP say 256.
So I already cant be wrong.
Wonder what else is different than claimed on OP.

Hi!

Any recommended miner for NVIDIA and BridgeCoin? Currently using "ccminer-2.0-release-x64-cuda-8.0" on a GTX1070, and getting 586 kH/s. Is it OK?

Thanks a lot!!

This is from another thread where someone bought a GPU miner to mine litecoin.

You bought a GPU rig to mine Litecoin? God damn everybody and their mother wants to be a miner, but have ZERO clue what they are doing, kinda frustrating! Tongue

Let me break it down for you:
There are many different coins and crypto algorithms. Some of the algos are ASIC resistant.

What is an ASIC? ASIC stands for Application Specific Integrated Circuit. It basically means that its a microprocessor that is application specific, all integrated on a chip. Application specific means it can only do one thing, or calculate one algorithm.

CPU and GPU´s are also Integrated Circuits, but can do MANY different operations. Because of this they need registers, cache/memory ALU++ to be able to do these operations, and to be fitted on the same chip. This leaves less room for the "calculating" part on the chip. (I´m sorry this is a little thin, I don´t know the word for it Tongue)

So to recap:
ASIC = Really fast at one operation
CPU = Can do a lot of different operations, but much slower than an ASIC on that specific operation.
GPU = Can do a lot of different operations, but much slower than an ASIC on that specific operation.

Obviously a CPU is much slower than a GPU when mining Ethereum for example. This is because of the type of algorithm used, it uses a lot of memory.
Ethereum is a good example of an ASIC resistant coin. The operations in the DaggerHashimoto algorithm is complex and requires a lot of memory.
This makes it hard and expensive to create an ASIC for it, and this combined with the difficulty bomb/ice age that is programmed into the ethereum code discourages manufacturers to even try to create an ASIC for it.

I used to mine litecoin with GPUs back in 2013, before the ASICs came a long. If I remember correctly I was getting around 3600 kH/s on a rig.
Thats roughly 600 kh/s per graphic card, and a graphic card contains 1 GPU chip.
The Antminer L3+ is a machine that contains 288 ASIC chips, with a speed of 504 MH/s

For perspective:
1 kH/s = 1000 h/s (hashes per second)
1 MH/s = 1000.000 h/s

So a GPU mining LTC will calculate around 600.000 h/s
And the L3+ will calculate around 504.000.000 h/s
Its obvious that when an ASIC hits the market for an algorithm, GPU mining will become obsolete.
So no, you can´t mine LTC with GPUs anymore Tongue

Before you go jumping of a bridge you should try mining ethereum, ethereum classic or ZEC. There are no ASICs for these coins (and many others).
Your GPUs could also be usable in the future in projects like golem or iExec RLC.

Welcome to the crypto game, lol xD

Im sorry if this post is hard to read, got zero structure, its my fragmented thoughts basically Cheesy

Thanks a lot, your answer has been enlightening!! Smiley

So, if I understand it correctly, there's no point in mining with a GPU any algo that has ASICs available for it, is that right? And SCRYPT (BridgeCoin algo) has ASICs available, so I can stop trying to mine it with my GPU...

Is there a place (or a way) to know which algos have ASICs and which ones do not?

Thanks again!!! You have helped me a lot!
