Well it is discussing for too long now... But looks like fist Russian people can go to prison for using Bitcoin even it 2016...

What can I comment on it... Just that having Bitcoins becomes too risky here. DASH is much more safe to keep here IMO because of it's anonymity features.  Cool

Make sure you stay safe, Alex!  I'm starting to worry, you do know how to use all those tools to hide your location safely!  And don't you dare disappear without a trace!  It'll freak me out not knowing you're OK!!!!
Agreed. Stay safe, bud.

Russia is coming...  Grin
We covered with Dash articles all main Bitcoin and IT medias here...

So if we don't want DASH to become "Russian coin" - we'd better increase our promotional efforts all around the world...  Roll Eyes

Then the Russians shall finally take over - not their government, but the people (because they're smart!)

i guess cryptocurrency gets driven underground in Russia ? Because i think i read somewhere that Russia is making laws to forbid cryptocurrencies ?
any thoughts on that alex-ru ? i'm curious if its just some tough talk from Russian government or if they are really meaning it.

edit : not sure how up to date that link is ...

Now, we just have to perfect those anonymity features. Welcoming all Russians to Dash Nation. Get your passwords at www.dash.org.

Are Bitcoin Transactions Traceable?
http://cointelegraph.com/news/are-bitcoin-transactions-traceable

Derick Smith, Architect at Protocol in Blockchain Solutions, comments:
“They are traceable unless they are expressly designed not to be so. This is the case with certain Bitcoin obfuscation techniques, or with a cryptocurrency like Dash's Darksend”.

I've changed my mind about the `max` amount of Masternodes. With DashDrive and the new quorum structure we could have millions. Besides, I fit a model recently to try and project the masternode count. If we leave everything exactly the same, the model projects about a max of 9700 masternodes.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RpLd87PTs65sz8USrrXwGRoVGVbzaC-nunErEtGSJoE/edit?usp=sharing

You wrote "shards will be stored multiple times on the network," and "T3 Masternode Quorum Actions is currently being written/rewritten," so I am wondering how do you anticipate the millions of Masternodes being possible, considering the limited supply of DASH?

Is is possible to share what do you plan to change?

hm, 10 dash >> 1 Masternode?  May be if we have to store the whole new dezentral internet in our masternodes.

I think Evan's point was that there would be no issue with lag, as information will not have to pass through every node, only limited nodes that make up a quorum, all other nodes will ignore stuff not assigned to them.  I think that was the issue with too many nodes and trying to propagate to every node for consensus.

Look at the arbitrage opportunity here. Exmo is hungry for more Dash volume. If I had time, I would be buying at Polo and selling at Exmo over and over.

Really nice to see Exmo taking such a nice bite out of the volume.  For a newer exchange, this is great Smiley

Just for the record i wanna say i'm fine with volume giving us the middle finger (again)

There's so much money coming into the alts right now and Bitcoin is just sitting there doing nothing. I wonder how the maximalists are feeling right now. It's not too late to join...  Cool

Looks like their hard fork today is having a lot of issues. Exchanges have disabled deposits/withdraws.

By the way TaoOfSaatoshi, that video of the instantX transaction to the exchange is really cool!! As you explain, not only can you trade quickly, but it's also no problem any more to NOT keep your coins on the exchange. No other coin has this feature =D
Right? Thank you for your kind words...

Zepher is scammer!:)
hello 0.01500, good to see you again old friend  Grin
HI! Someone know when will  added on btc38 cny/dash pair?

Personally i think BTC38 is still monitoring / analysing the volume on DASH/BTC before adding an extra DASH/CNY pair,
but thats really a guess from my side. Perhaps best is to ask BTC38 directly, show them that there is an interest for it.
Oh thanks for at least one answer!:) I appreciate that!

Wow...EXMO is really stepping up to the plate.  Over 29% of the trading volume.  Good to see this spread around a bit more.  I've not traded on there yet...looks like I need to give it a shot. Wink

Their KYC process was a nightmare in my particular case, but they look good.
Can anyone from the DASH team push for EUR/DASH?

Plus, the site is pretty slick!

Thanks and please bump,
