oh my, we are luring them in from other forums now. This feels a lot like fishing, when you just notice that first subtle bite at your line.

question is ofcourse, do you give them time to bite deeper or do you give it a good old fashioned sweep upwards ?
it all boils down to patience, are we patient fishers ?  Undecided

never mind, i just remembered the Dash Debit Card budget proposal has a later start date, its not scheduled for next super-block (448632) but for the super-block in june 2016 (481864)
ref : https://dashninja.pl/budgets.html

edit : maybe the Dash Budget Proposal Vote Tracker (http://dashvotetracker.com/) could include the start and end date of budget proposals as well ?

Yep, nothing wrong here, it's just how http://dashvotetracker.com/ shows proposals.

...
dash-debit-card
*  Will not be paid with next budget. This proposal exceeds the remaining unallocated budget of 949 DASH!
...
I wonder where did you get this red one from?

dashwhale --> https://www.dashwhale.org/budget
makes it a bit confusing

Ahh, I see, I was searching through code - thought it was from our rpc Cheesy
This needs fixing on dashwhale side then Smiley

allright, thanks for looking into it codewise and all Smiley i will give rango a shout on Dashwhale

i think both Dashwhale and Dashvotetracker should differentiate budget proposals scheduled for later super-blocks more clearly.

Ah, that is it? I was just looking at "First Seen: 2 days 5 hours 36 minutes 26 seconds ago [3/20/2016 11:07:35 AM]" which is over 48 hours and got confused even more  Huh

eventhough the Dash Debit Card budget proposal is currently not competing with the other budget proposals for next superblock as its scheduled for a later super-block, i am curious if above situation
(https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14281997) could repeat itself in later super-blocks.

Is the debit card a brand new proposal? For the first 48 hours all budgets, no matter their votes, show as "will not be paid." Proposals take 48 hours before the network recognizes them as "mature."

It's been added on 20-03-2016 so it very well may be below 48 hours. This very well might change. (to my expense Smiley but better metrics are better metrics)

interesting, i guess tomorrow we will know more. just to think if Debit Card was requesting 949 Dash instead of 950 Dash, both proposals would (most likely) have been accepted
and put in the next super-block.

I learned to my expense that there's a 48 hour waiting period and then a 24 hour finalization period before a budget can be paid in a superblock!

Its still weird to see budget proposal selection behaviour like this :

dash-debit-card
*  Will not be paid with next budget. This proposal exceeds the remaining unallocated budget of 949 DASH!

I still dont understand why it allocates Dash World which has less treshold votes instead of Dash Debit Card which has a higher
treshold for a lessor one payment.

Looks like we'll be flipping back and forth with MaidSafeCoin for the time being

Those are my compatriots Cheesy as it happens and I'm very happy to have them as marketcap bedfellows.  They've got their office in a sleepy little golfing town that you would not believe if you saw it. It's about as far away from a Manhattan skyscraper as you could imagine and about the most exciting thing that happens is a new ice cream flavour turning up at the local seaside cafe.

I doubt that the locals have a clue as to the mini revolution thats brewing on their doorstep.

I lived across the road from and attended the University where that project was hatched and have been quite astounded by the success they've had - though I'm not invested (should have obviously).

All in all, good company for Dash I reckon   Smiley !

I had great experiences with them too. During the ICO, I purchased coins from a BTC wallet that I later discovered was compromised (freaking Counterparty incompetence...their web wallet screwed up the R-value). I immediately emailed the lead devs and they responded right away and sent my coins to a new wallet after I signed a message with the old one. I was really impressed at how accessible they were and responsive they were.
+1 MaidSafe. A class act, and the one good thing to come out of MasterCoin.
Sorry about your Counterparty experience. I always thought they had the coolest, most noble launch ever by using proof of burn. They have had some security issues, but I've stuck with counterparty-cli + Bitcoin Core and not had any problems. Web wallets just scare me.
Maybe when the Counterparty devs get sick of dealing with taunts from Luke-Jr they will port everything over to DashParty! Wink

Well, I have to qualify my statements about Counterparty. I should have said "freaking Counterparty bug" instead. The devs were actually super nice, and several other people had their BTC addresses compromised. They offered a full reimbursement for everybody, but as it turns out, a white hat had actually "stolen" all the BTC from the list of compromised addresses. He then returned them to everybody.

I agree about the proof of burn...very innovative and cool/classy method of issuance. I actually have a very fond place for Counterparty in my heart, since they were the first crypto that I actually made a profit on.

In January 2014 I was watching Counterparty, Emunie, and Ethereum. The fact that Emunie never launched goes to show that the perfect is the enemy of the good.
