Seems like someone was managing privileged info and that´s why over a hundred nodes are missing in the last days, I am almost sure all those DASH are providing liquidity in BTC38 market and making a sustantial benefit.

It´s only a theory.

Sweet. Thanks Walt.

Do we know why it has taken so long to trade there?

I recall from 'dash' meaning something not too positive in Mandarin/Cantonese to Yb coin being thought of as anon tech. (I always thought it was a yaccoin clone actually) and them protecting that??

I haven't got a clue why it's taken so long, maybe others closer to the action can shed some light? As for the name, I don't think it's a big deal... And judging from the first hours trading at btc38 I'd say that they don't either... Dash now being bid up to the 0.0013-0.0014 range over there.

All,

I think the whole BTC transaction size debacle just jumped up a notch as I received the following notification from CoinBase.com after attempting to send 1BTC to an exchange:

"This transaction amount is below the current minimum amount to be accepted by the bitcoin network. (54.60 bits)"

The amount of dust we should normally be associated with at least of few weeks of usage in normal everyday environment (non server room) and we don’t think that these devices are tested in a very dusty room.

There is no "normal everyday environment" in China. The smog they are immersed in is visible from space (!) and people are wearing masks just to do everyday tasks.

(a google of "china smog" photos is very revealing)

Ugh, that's horrible!  I thought it was bad in the 70's downtown and east Valley but never ever anything close to that!  Yuck!

It gets "better": http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/08/world/fresh-air-britain-china-bottles/

I heard of that, and thought it was funny, but maybe not so funny but rather desperate!  Tongue

"The last part of our initial impressions that did not leave us very happy is the fact that there was quite a bit of dust buildup inside the miner, way more than there should be from a normal testing of new hardware before shipping to customer for example. The outside of the miner makes an impressions that it is new (cleaned well), but on the inside – the fans and the heatsinks of the blades with chips have dust that is hard to cleanup with just compressed air without taking the device apart. The amount of dust we should normally be associated with at least of few weeks of usage in normal everyday environment (non server room) and we don’t think that these devices are tested in a very dusty room. So it seems that they have been “tested” for some more time before being shipped to customers…"
