I haven't used IRC in eons...what client are people using that is super friendly?
what is our IRC channel?

I use Quassel. Easy enough for me and I'm a total IRC noob.  Tongue

Limechat for OSx, love the dark lime green color scheme (not default, in preferences). It has that 1980's CRT aesthetics, kinda...

On another note, just found this,

http://www.coindesk.com/dogecoin-founder-bitcoin-toxic/

Dogecoin creator quits crypto's, essentially because of "real life trolls" LOL.. not surprising when you create a project for sh!ts & giggles and people trash your party.

Luckily, we're not in the same league, not even close  Wink

Wow... He nails the demographic and exactly what I've been thinking of most of the people in the crypto space.  Angry white libertian conspiracy fueled males... and that businesses have lag behind.   Great article Ghost player. Thanks for the irc tip as well.

Cry   Cry   Cry
[lulzy off-topic raging]

Poor dear.  Did you have a good cry?  Need a fresh weeping towel?  I hope you feel better after letting the butthurt flow though you.

But instead of vandalizing the DASH thread with your pouting, why not use the PM feature?

Oh wait, PMs won't satisfy your desire to attention whore in public.

Maybe you should rage-quit crypto like Jackson "zomg mean trools, oh the huge manatee!!!" Palmer.

No rage here - just wanted to let you know you are a piece of shit to society...that is all....

i'd like to see some new threats spewing from this thread Grin

The more people we have like you around the more I lose faith in humanity as a whole.

If only bct had a like button.

It doesn't, so I can't be unambiguous.

Anyways, he did make an interesting question.

Is it possible to not have an obviously centralized reference node?

I mean, I get that the node can be taken over, but how can it not be controlled by one person, forever?

Like, I guess you can have such low bars as 'anyone can be the reference node, so it's decentralized', but I'm trying to understand how it can be possible to not need a reference node at all for the <300 masternode operators
There is no need for the reference node moving forward ... And the upcoming version of DASH it will be eliminated.   Head over to dashtalk for a in depth discussion on this topic.  Cheers.  You won't find that information here do to trolls etc.

icebreaker - you are the toxic piece of shit that drags down crypto in general. The more people we have like you around the more I lose faith in humanity as a whole.

Yes this is a personal attack, attack the attacker, ad hominem etc. i dont give a shit because you as a person are a piece of shit and is on topic so you can stick it up your ass.

For anyone who is genuinely interested, here is one of two stickies from the General Discussion forum on DashTalk with eduffield's version of events at the launch of the coin: https://dashtalk.org/threads/the-birth-of-darkcoin.162/.

Here is an interesting read about yet another innovative feature of Dash which was recently announced, Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain: https://dashtalk.org/threads/self-sustainable-decentralized-governance-by-blockchain.4708/

Please stay on topic or STFU & GTFO.

He is right on topic iCEBREAKER, people need to know that YOU are an alleged fraudster to put your words in perspective. If you really scam all those people do we have to believe everything you say now ?

"Perspective?"

Ad hominem is a logical fallacy, not a valid source of perspective.

EG: if I changed my mind and decided to support DASH, my biography would still be completely irrelevant to impertinent questions about the 2 million coin oopsy-mine, centralized Reference Node, bus factor of one, corporatist DARKCOIN FOUNDATION INC structure, etc.

Your 'attack-the-attacker' mode of operation is a cult tactic, not a legitimate way of defending DASH from those uncomfortable questions.

Best IoT Platform Based on Blockchain
To me monero trolls including their dev who comes here are giving their own coin a really bad taste bcuz under achievers can not say to some one who is an over achiever what's right and what is wrong. Ofc here I am talking about the less talk more doing Evan

My posts about the 2 million DASH oopsy-mine, etc. are 100% on topic.  Your personal attacks are not.

Please stay on topic or STFU & GTFO.
