Please just ignore these individuals.  It's peaceful and quite with them on ignore.  It's also respectful to the rest of our community.  Put them on Ignore and problem fixed.   The vast majority of us on here have these folks on Ignore... Your wise to do the same.  Thanks.

It's possible to create a donation therapy for iCEBREAKER ?

The volunteer work I do here, helping credulous green noobs escape the clutches of the Darkcoin cult, is my therapy.

If you'd like to donate, PM for an address.

Maybe I'd change my attitude and sig, if I had a Masternode...  Wink

I just tried to setup a new masternode and when I enter masternode start I get the error "not capable masternode: Invalid port: 999 - only 9999 is supported on mainnet." Any ideas what I did wrong?
Port is wrong - it's most likely a typo in your config, just double check 999 should be 9999

EDIT: just like I said ^^^  Grin
Yeah, I like that it says "ENABLED" now instead of the :1 when you grep your ip. Good thinking whoever did that  Grin

Edit: Never mind I accidentally put :999 instead of :9999. Maybe I should have read the message  Tongue

Wonderful...  git pull on ubuntu threw me a metric B load of merge conflicts...  so instead of compiling the wallet I get to figure this mess out instead.  Oh well time to hit the books.

if you're talking about https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin.git and have no edits to save
do:
Code:
git fetch
git checkout -f master
git reset --hard origin/master

And you'll be at the right commit (v0.11.2.16) and have a clean working directory.

Thanks moocow...  your rock.

Open letter to the Dash community,

In order to help the good people that have succumbed to the temptation of quoting trolls, I have finally come up with a helpful solution for those poor addicts who just can't seem to stop.  It saddens me greatly when people I normally enjoy reading posts from for their insightful comments and enthusiasm for this project go down that dark road.  So in order to help these fine people kick the abhorrent habit of feeding the trolls I am implementing a Dash Troll Jar.

Much like the good old fashioned curse jar where you have to drop a dollar in the jar every time you utter a curse word.  Every time you quote a known troll you must donate .5 Dash to the troll jar.  For feeding the trolls it will be .1 Dash.  This will be an honor system that is completely voluntary due to my libertarian nature and not wanting to push my personal standards of conduct on other people.  It is a purely selfless way for me to help support the Dash community by providing an incentive for you to help yourself quit this harmful and disgusting addiction.

Payment information
Address: Xb6YZ1B3xG24V8rBzkgwkEvgjtG4XZnrgz
Amount: 0.50 DASH
Label: Dash Troll Jar
Message: Must donate to the troll jar when quoting trolls

all proceeds will go towards the 881 Dash I need to set up a masternode Tongue

regards,

RRodent

***BUMP***

I see alot of you backsliding... and yet no payments to the troll jar...  Sad

I do not recognise the user or address as a legitimate trustee. I myself have donated 0.5 Dash to the Foundation as "fine" for troll feeding.

who said anything about being a trustee... i'm untrustable just as it should be Tongue

I've got 10 of 30 new MNs up with https://node40.com & I'm very impressed with their customer service and response times indeed, the next 20 going live tomorrow.

In other news, I finally got round to replying to Ferdous of MintPal as he'd said that their Monero XMR were still safe and that he'd send them back, I think the deadline on that was the 31st March so I was a bit last minute, but he sent them immediately so that was a nice surprise.

I then checked my wallet and see that I have quite a lot of these, last time I looked they were at $2.39 and are now $0.77 ish, so down to under 1/3 of their value, but nm I will continue to hold them as to dump them now would just seem vindictive and petty and harm all their holders who have better things to do than troll other coin's threads.
Otoh, you really are a stand-up guy! I'm glad that you are a big part of this community, representing us. If you're ever close to Niagara Falls, PM me.
