Only if everyone does. There comes a point when you see lots of people falling for an con that you have to point it out.
That is why I keep bringing that logic again and again, but then someone violates it and cites a reason for doing it. I even posted 2 pages ago that I clearly saw everyone was doing an awesome job of identifying the troll and not falling for it

Today the trolling faggot was accepting compliments by a couple of XMR bag holders in the poloniex trollbox about how excellent he had trolled darkcoin in the past.
Mr. bigrcanada, you could also just learn how to completely ignore the troll. You keep quoting humorous responses and make the thread that much harder to sift through. It never helps.

Slapper, anyone with eve the most basic "dealing with bullying 101" knowledge knows responding to trolls only eggs them on. Anyone, who's been to school (which I'd guess is EVERYONE who's likely to be on here) knows what it's like to have someone attacking or teasing as it's probably happened to all of us at some stage. By not responding, yes you douse it and pretty soon they give up to go find someone else to annoy.
But, people come on to this thread without going through "Slapper's pre-briefing on how to handle trolling within the DRK thread" course and with someone like shojayxt, he occasionally makes some valid points and occasionally looks like he's half okay. So people that haven't been through the history up to this point sometimes respond and some of us who're aware of his techniques need to help people realise what's going on and correct misinformation. Ignoring him, and others with that sort of disruptive intent, is very important but correcting misinformation and slander is too.
Telling people "and fuck you..." for writing something designed to get him to think, isn't a way to engender harmony within the thread.
I stand by my post. It was best written here an not in a PM. If you don't like that, too bad.
