What's causing some coins to get stuck as unconfirmed during the anonymisation process? I currently have 20 unconfirmed, and they have been like that from a day. And if I go to transactions there are 2 transactions that don't seem to have reached the network. Will this sort itself out or is there something I should do?
The TXes not on the blockchain should be deleted. They may be what's holding it up.

It's due to a timing issue that has been fixed in latest release. Essentially, Evan made DS+ run so fast that it was moving faster than the users. I had over 7000DRK "stuck" due tot he same problem. It's no big deal. But, if it exists in your wallet already, you have to remove them. The updated wallet will respect them, it just won't make the mistake of creating more. It's up to you to determine what needs removed. Evan's way of making sure it didn't "automagically" remove something it shouldn't, then you'd REALLY be pissed...

How do I remove transactions?

In the debug console:

erasetransaction

smh...  The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later.

go to the debug console and type in "erasetransaction " I believe you only want to do that on transactions that haven't hit the block chain yet 0/6 confirmations yada yada

Did you update to 29?

Just prior to making post about the issue.

make sure you set it to only 1 round as well...  already checked to see if .29 fixed the multiple rounds thing and it still appears to be sticking the wallet into a loop.

I had it on 2 rounds, then 3 when I was running .26 and nothing was happening, so when I updated to .27 I reduced it to one round as people on here said to. I'm now on .29 with it set to one round and 15 to be anonymized (I currently have a little over 20 anonymized, probably due to having set higher amounts when I was using .26).

Aren't you Ouija Boardists going to say something about cup and handle?

;-)

no cup and handle in sight, but a more reliable pattern is
A double bottom  Cheesy

Edit: A double bottom can differ 2-5% from the original bottom, just a small hint for those of you who are waiting for an exact bottom at 0.00725  Wink

stupid.
For someone of your caliber, you really should add some other word to your vocabulary.

stu·pid
lacking intelligence or common sense.

Synonyms:   unintelligent, ignorant, dense, foolish, dull-witted, slow, simpleminded, vacuous, vapid, idiotic, imbecilic, imbecile, obtuse, doltish; informalthick, dim, dimwitted, slow-witted, dumb, dopey, dozy, moronic, cretinous, pea-brained, halfwitted, soft in the head, brain-dead, boneheaded, thickheaded, wooden-headed, muttonheaded, daft
"they're rather stupid"
foolish, silly, unintelligent, idiotic, scatterbrained, nonsensical, senseless, harebrained, unthinking, ill-advised, ill-considered, unwise, injudicious;
inane, absurd, ludicrous, ridiculous, laughable, risible, fatuous, asinine, mad, insane, lunatic;
informalcrazy, dopey, cracked, half-baked, dimwitted, cockeyed, lamebrained, nutty, batty, cuckoo, loony, loopy
"that was a really stupid thing to do"

I personaly like informalthick and muttonheaded  Grin
Does failing to learn about something you're throwing money into fit any of those?

I think it does.

Why waste creativity on the stupid? They're stupid... If I crafted a special phrase, they wouldn't realize I'm talking about them... Then, it's not helpful, is it? That would be, wait for it, stupid!

is this guy who I think it is?

Yes. There's been quite a lot of discussion about his second to last post before.

It would have been nice to get this attention in any other context.  WikiLeaks has kicked the hornet's nest, and the swarm is headed towards us.

Cool, will do some googling, thanks!

I think Kristov's review will be key. That provides the rubber stamp.

I sympathize for his job, as he is not reviewing static code but rather something that is constantly changing / evolving / reprogrammed to new functionality. You can't really rubber stamp if you have to face this (otherwise positive) problem.

This has been my only long-standing concern for DRK; are even the crypto-people too stupid to see what it can do?

Crypto-traders, buyers, etc do not usually understand technical concepts, not necessarily because they are stupid, but because they might lack the knowledge to properly evaluate stuff.

1. We've seen that in "complex" coins: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/is-counterparty-xcp-severely-undervalued-637645 (read post #2 and post #9 by me)

2. We've seen that in the anonymous market: a lot of people were unable to properly evaluate the worthiness of certain coins in the marketplace. People were getting excited by vapor, believing FUD as truth, claiming scummy P&Ds are innovative anonymous coins, equating DRK being trustless and decentralized with other trusted and centralized solutions, not understanding the difference between actual coins that can be used versus proof-of-concept coins etc etc.
have gone through the posts and could not agree more, cryptos are cryptic Wink
That's a fancy way of saying that stupid isn't stupid...

Sir, I protest. Stupid is, in fact, stupid.

What did I know about crypto 5 years ago?

I stepped up and used my brain. Failure to do so is failure.

Not doing a thing you know damn well you should be doing... Stupid is as stupid does.

Every human being on this planet has the same fucking brain that I have. I am not special. I jsut use mine and most people don't. That is stupid.

On the other hand there are lots of smart people staying away from darkcoin who normally love privacy and anonymity. People like... Taaki
