Thats a great idea. If thousands of people see addresses known to hold illeagally obtained coins and watch them transfer to parts unknown without the use of expensive, complicated money laundering techniques, it would be very good for the black market folks. For governments and police to see something they know is stolen and be helpless to watch it go untraced is a powerful message. I realise that is a nefarious use of the coin, but that is also the reality. 2FA peeps.

Great PR gig if that works out .....>>

No need to apologise... Once you figure out in life that politicians are just figureheads for corporations and the media are there to shape people's thoughts into the will of those corporations, it's really hard not to be mad 24/7...

Take that energy and frustration and put it towards supporting DarkCoin.

As soon as RC4 is ready and Evan + team give the green light, I'm going on a Jihad...  Every business in Australia is going to know about DarkCoin and the world of crypto...

Yes sir!  LOL, actually, I'm struggling with my next article.  I want to write on masternodes and all the things they can do for us, without sounding silly, ROFLMAO.  I don't think it's silly, my ideas, but I want to keep them grounded a bit.  Anyway, maybe I should do that instead of getting in trouble here, LOL

Hi, which country are you in?

Also, checkout www.positivemoney.org - they explain that most of what we think of as USD, Pounds, Euros or AUDs are just other people's debts. It's a debt based system. Bitcoin, darkcoin and cryptos are a form of non-debt based money - positive money if you will.

USA, I should stop being angry and writing politics.  I'm going to hit someone the wrong way.  I'm just not happy with our current leader at all.  So I rant sometimes, sorry.

To be honest, there has to be debt.  It's not good in everyday life, but for businesses, they need to raise capital to grow all the time, heck just to start!  Many businesses crash in startup as well.  But it is healthy to have people trying.  There is a balance to everything.  I'm actually not black and white, but when the economy gets so out of hand, it crashes, over and over again.

I think cryptocurrency will actually smooth the fall out, at least I'm hoping so.

The issue is, a powerful three-letter-acronym from a police state can just say the word to Amazon and they roll over and give access to their virtual machines, no matter where they are located. That's why eventually we need people to use more independent service providers.

Seriously, have no fear.

1. our coins are not stored on the servers.
2. we can move our nodes within an hour, way faster than they can shut 'em all down because as soon as it starts, everyone will undoubtedly be alerted.
3. As far as it goes for me at least, I know my government (and anyone who wants to try) can figure out who I am easily, I'm not THAT afraid of my government.  I don't think that they'll throw me in jail just because I've run masternodes, miners and bought DRK.

Frankly, I've been learning so much about our financial situation (my country's) that I think it's crypto currency that is going to save our butts, and by that, I mean everyone's but the entrenched.  We'll save business, keep the world going when everything crashes this time around.  Don't think that'll happen?  Yah, sure, keep dreaming. This lady is trying to keep warm buy burning German currency in 1924 http://www.romanbritain.freeserve.co.uk/hyperinflation_files/image002.jpg

Since I was a kid, and learned about my parent's country and what happened, I've been afraid it would happen here.  I'm still afraid.  If we're not in a fascist government implementing a "mixed economy", with government owning or arm in arm with most all the biggest of companies... then I don't know my history.  That's actually the best hope for us, I think we're going socialistic in the end.

Mate, I am running at a considerable loss as it is.

How can you be running at a loss?  Huh

You only need 2 MN payments a month to be in profit.

You really can only say that after all the changes are in place and everything runs smoothly.  Right now, you gotta spend lots of time setting them up and making sure they're running still, and also, there have been so many changes, and there will be more.

So unless your time isn't worth anything, yah, I can see he runs at a loss.  I'm not getting paid to be a housewife and child chauffeur, so it's nothing off my skin.  My husband is self employed, so I help him with stuff all the time, but don't get paid, LOL.  But I'm also not paying for the rent or food, so there ya have it Smiley

The hacker on Mintpal will certainly make things interesting because the funds are now in Drk. If Drksend works, those funds will become untraceable. If not, the funds can be tainted. This will be an interesting real life test case.

That's a really good way to look at it.  I wonder how many eyes are going to be on those DRK addresses in the near future?  Wink

It truly is eCash isn't it?

At least with cash, it's denominated in a way that makes it harder and harder to move large amounts around...

DarkSend = Financial Revolution

Take everything you ever understood about the world of finance and throw it out the window.  DarkSend pushes the reset button on the whole game...

I saw a quote last weekend -

"It is impossible to know the exact nature of a box when you are inside it."

It's a brave new world, we're the fortunate ones to be shepherding it in

It still impresses me that someone with that large of a stash in BTC value opted not to use 2FA.

We are in war with Cloak
cloaks deverlopers are working
Personally, I don't think any of the PoS coins have legitimacy. They're just pump and dump.

Additionally its the way they are launched, i.e with 7 days only of PoW....what ive seen is people spend up to 10btc renting out huge farms to rake in the coins for 1 week. Then sit and stake and cause more centralization and un-even distribution.

With PoW yes people have large farms but the distribution continues past the 7 days as more people join and the hash and distribution spreads over time.

Personally, I don't think any of the PoS coins have legitimacy. They're just pump and dump.

I think you could say "for now" POS coins are mostly trading vehicles. I think the downside they have (POS coins in general) are the education and adoption issues related to them outside of the crypto/trading world.

I've posted it somewhere before, but most of us "discovered" BTC in one way or another. From there you learn the basics "OH SHIT! I can mine this too!"... buy some crappy USB miners off EBAY before you realized it was a waste.... so you learn a little more, find out about LiteCoin...and then alts like DOGE... "Wheee! Im gonna be rich" .. put those old GPUs to work!

Good or bad, I think this is a pretty basic path most people who got here took... there's something compelling about being able to mine with computer equipment (whether profitable or not) for newcomers...

POS coins have to go another mile an explain why there's no mining and that newcomers need to buy the coins, then have to educate people on how they need to buy them... then try to explain how you can generate more via POS, etc. etc.

So not criticizing what a particular coin is doing or promising, I think there are just more complex barriers to entry to POS coins... maybe this changes over time, but I think there's benefits for POW alts at least being able to draw a parallel to BTC as far as what they are, how they are created and how YOU can strike it rich!

There is no war. Competition, yes, despite weak. Its a free market out there. Trolls flaming is no war, its just a nuisance.
its true, competition is the correct word

I think Cloak would like to think it's in competition with DRK, which is fine, you gotta think big.  However I don't think you'll find too many DRK holders that take Cloak as serious competition...

So you're statement is probably correct, depending on what side of the fence you sit on...
