It was 50% "premined" in the first 48 hours due to a botched "mining difficulty adjustment". Half the current coins were mined in 48 hours. The fork was just a bump in the road. DarkCoin may or may not be anonymous, as you can't see the code since it is closed source. YES...the MAIN FEATURE, DARKSEND, that is responsible for the anonymous nature is CLOSED SOURCE. Might as well be named HoneyPotCoin. It could literally be doing anything...do you trust people or an algorithm? Clearly DarkCoin fanboys trust people over algo. Should've sold at the top of this OBVIOUS bubble. Those who think DarkCoin will gain "mainstream" popularity fail to understand the target audience of anonymous coins.
