I read that the price skyrocket when the main feature will being implemented.

1. What is the main feature?

2. When will it be implemented?

There will be many features implemented, a Masternode payment fork is coming out on May 28th(7 days from now)

Along with the end of Version one and open source of darkcoin, then comes the implementation of Ring Signatures and I2P, practically making Darkcoin 100% anonymous in every way.

Masternode payment : May 25th
Timer : http://drk.poolhash.org/graph.html

Grin

Old schedule...

- RC2 (magic numbers changed to darkcoin, DGW3) : May 14th
- RC2 (masternode payments) : May 25th
- RC3 (10 DRK limit and denominated change) : June 14th
- After this, I'll find someone to vet the code and open source.
- RC4 (Bugs, security issues)
- Testing, then opensource

The masternode issues and the 3rd fork for the 25th actually messed up the schedule. I've been rewriting much of the code masternode technology (released yesterday, if you haven't updated please do!)

There's still some oddities with the election voting system that I'm going to tackle this next week. This I'll start working again on RC3 .

Could someone suggest stable darkcoin pool for failover? Currently i'm using drkpool.com as main and i need one reliable for failover, tried suchpool.ws, but it has issues, seems under ddos.

use p2pool and have 2,3 p2pool nodes configured

automatic failover, no mining loss.
and distributed infrastructure.

Why not use a p2p node closest to your location with your wallet address as a failover?

please answer:
a) was your address generated by the wallet or imported (brainwallet, paperwallet)
b) did you generate the phrase yourself (the secret key)

c) did you use your phrase/wallet-key anywhere else=?
d) is your phrase/wallet key guessable ? (name, birthday, combination of words that appear in the dictionary, "aaa" "123" "hello" "nooneknows" "password"... etc

Ok, I understand you completely, so:
a) was your address generated by the wallet or imported (brainwallet, paperwallet)
This is local (home desktop) computer. The wallet is from official darkoin.io site
b) did you generate the phrase yourself (the secret key)
I invented myself password
c) did you use your phrase/wallet-key anywhere else=?
Unique is only for this wallet
d) is your phrase/wallet key guessable ? (name, birthday, combination of words that appear in the dictionary, "aaa" "123" "hello" "nooneknows" "password"... etc
The pass phrase contains big and small letters, numbers, special characters, is not intuitive

mh... i have no idea.
can someone take over?

MadBitcoins wants to interview the Darkcoin devs.

They already bought Darkcoins and like the fact that DRK is not a clone, it has innovation and the devs have the pictures and identity in the public domain

Sorry guys, quick question, it seems I have successfully gotten a masternode up and running as it appears in my local wallet list and the remote server list (masternode list). Is there another command to issue to check if my masternode is set-up correctly? I mean, it is displaying 1 at the end of the ip address....I guess I'm, just a little paranoid and I have to go through this process quite a bit more and want to make sure all is good.

check ip

Thanks man! You are a hard working dude! Those set-up guides are awesome. what's a drk address I can throw some shade your way?

DRK will need a price of 0.144 BTC per DRK to reach LTC. Sounds much* but DRK has one ninth as a total number of coins in circulation.

* This in itself might create a perception of overpricing at that level. It amazes me that the vast majority of people in cryptoland have so little economic thinking in terms of fundamental parameters like coin numbers and are comparing prices in absolute levels - like coin numbers are irrelevant in the greater scheme of things... This is very exploitable against buyers, because you have phenomena like DOGE being more expensive than DRK if adjusted for an equal amount of coins. If DOGE had just one million coins, these would cost 36$ each - and at some earlier moments they could cost like 100$ each. Then it would appear as "expensive". However if you make 78 billion coins and you put a price of 0.000458$ each, nobody cares because the price seems trivial. Seems dirt cheap and the buyer loads the truck by the millions.

That's why listed companies do stock splits.
