The Future Of Work

That's really cool.  I assume the top addresses are the bigger exchanges?  According to your system, Cryptsy has over 3000 addresses worth over 522,000 dark!  But that doesn't include the #1 wallet, so I wonder who has the #1 wallet?  It seems their largest wallet is #3

Is there a larger exchange handling dark?

Hello all
I really like darkcoin, so I am looking the best settings for my mining rigs.
Anyone got good settings for r9 270 and r9 280x ?
Kind Regards
novymivo

My 11 r9 270's get about 1.18Mh/s @45-50C with this conf on sgminer-sph with BAMT 1.6:
Code:
{
    "pools": [

        }
    ],
    "auto-fan": true,
    "gpu-fan": "40-70",
    "temp-cutoff": "85",
    "temp-overheat": "80",
    "temp-target": "75",

    "gpu-engine": "975",
    "gpu-memclock": "1250",

    "worksize": "256",
    "intensity": "13",
    "thread-concurrency": "6336",
    "gpu-threads": "2",
    "gpu-powertune": "20",
    "lookup-gap": "2",

    "api-port": "4028",
    "api-listen": true,
    "api-allow": "W:127.0.0.1",

    "failover-only" : true,
    "no-pool-disable": true,
    "no-submit-stale" : true,

    "queue": "0",

    "kernel" : "darkcoin",
    "kernel-path": "/usr/local/bin"
}

I can up the core to 1030 but I prefer zero worry, cool temps, low fanspeed, and 100% stability.

For a 280 up the TC to 8191/2/3 and whatever clock speeds you're happy with.

Good luck!

IMO BlackCoin could be serious threat to DarkCoin. As a community we should take it seriously:

1. If BC implement DarkSend, DRK could be doomed
2. BC multipool is going to use X11 (this is already happening, it is just a matter of days)
3. I think that more "average Joe" kind of people will consider DarkCoin just a copy of BC because they will firstly hear about blackcoin, which is a big hype nowdays, and they have great  marketing(Apple is big copy-cat, but people find it innovative ).
Where have they said they're planning to use DarkSend?

i think it cannot work with that coin, because it is now POS (started POW+POS)
the mining is done
their infrastructure is not comparable to DRK
so it would be very hard for the devs to implement DarkSend into BC with the random master-node-concept as a piece of the whole DRK-mining-infrastructure

The people at BC are making a false claim as well; they were not the 1st to go stake only. ADT did it 1st and man was it a mess... I'm not worried about BC even slightly.

Pumps (and dumps) happen in altcoin-land all the time. Stop panicking. And if BC tried to mine DRK, they wouldn't impact price much. The more hashes they contribute, the fewer total coins there will be per day.

+1

Epic pump... make no mistakes, epic dump will follow. There is nothing special warranting that price. Auroracoin anyone?

Pumpers have been slowly buying @ 500-1000 satoshi, then Twitter campaign for a couple weeks and careful buy support to pump slowly.
Only question, is it still a greed phase, or delusion:

Result: With careful sales pumpers can get 50-100 times return.
It's not all bad if the new floor ends up higher than before, just a lot of suckers loosing by buying at high prices and holding.

You might never know until everything becomes history.

It is always better to fail trying than doing nothing and seeing that somebody is hitting the success...

People don't know how will the coin, explosive or die.
But now they are from the future! Smiley Smiley

Exactly what I was thinking the other day.
never before can future sighting be into the coin for base.

all the alt coins increased 20-200%

darkcoin increased only 10%. on par with bitcoin.

also when darksend goes open-source all the other altcoins will benefit from it.

and darkcoin will lose its edge I fear.

Its not going to be that easy to paste the DarkSend code into the existing coins. It will take ALOT of work.

Since MOST coins are just clones, not many will have the knowledge to incorporate it.

Lets not make it too easy Wink.

I'm still mining altcoins and selling them all for DRK Smiley. Have been collecting DRK since mid-feb, not planning on stopping anytime soon. Very excited for the release of DarkSend and hope to see more gambling sites using this currency. Really hoping to see markets using it too.

I used to have 1.22% of all DRK coins like 2 weeks ago, then 1.21%, now 1.2%. Are new coins being mined that quickly? It's worrying me a bit.

After all those heavy arguments of "no big holders left", "all of the initially mined coins got redistributed by now" and "no single hands control hundreds of thousand coins", you just quietly place this replay here, saying you have 1.2% share of all DRK? LOL. Grin

Yes, because he bought these coins with BTC at the recent level prices.

Maybe he can run a few MasterNodes.

we are keeping everything as close to darkcoin as possible because they have everything open source. they do the hard work, we focus on marketing and make much $$

Even on this thread we had one investor that said he put in 30k USD and another who said he put in 20k USD. At current prices, that's enough to buy up ~1% of all DRK in existence.

That's just basically 40k DRK. The whole "1 PERSON HAS 2 MILLION COINS" myth was the dumbest thing I ever read.
