You can mine DarkCoin at www.CoinMine.pw - the best place to park your workers! Roll Eyes
  • Easy switch worker from web interface without reconnects and stales!
  • Auto switch workers with personal Coin Sets and Coin's Difficulty range for every Worker

Oh.. First X11 multipool.

Who is the admin? If you check the profit they say Profit/HIRO, what means that they set HIRO as the reference profit, but they should use DRK, just like BTC is reference profit for sha256, LTC is reference for scrypt and VTC reference for scrypt-N

Quote
Profit/HIRO shows Coin Profitability relative to HIRO (HIROCoin) Profitability ratio. In other words, it shows an estimate of how much more you will earn mining this coin than if you were mining HIRO (usually you can earn more mining alternate coins).

And by the way, it's calculating something wrong, because it should have 1.00 as profit/HIRO but it says right now 1.07.

Edit: I guess niceman is the admin, sending him PM...

I think while the logo is more ok, the coin design needs A LOT of work to be professional-looking. In fact I think we are regressing heavily with the coin / 3D. Colour scheme is also not to my liking (I prefer black & gold, must've mentioned it a few times Grin) but that's always highly subjective.

Sounds like we need 11 x logo's.

Then everyone will be happy because they get to choose which one they like.  This is virtual cash after all. It's not like we have to get the printing presses all stocked up with ink.

I prefer the black and white version. It's DRKer. Tongue

Definitely

That's the problem.

Agreed, the black and white looks like some kind of skate shop logo or something not an e-currency

I hope you miss out on sleep more often, this is beautiful.

THX for all the nice words!
I m overwhelmed by your Sympathy!

...I m thinking about trying a darker version, (the coin darker, the logo stays) and with a sharper edge (more coin like).
dont know when i will be over it.
but one night or another i will stay up again ;-)

//dont forget: neither the logo nor the color-scheme is from me.
// and i think that both did a wonderful job!!!

Just amazing, thanks for all you do for DRK !

Is there an ETA for the hard-fork to implement masternode payments?

I'm going to be releasing a couple more updates for V6 to stabilize masternodes and payments. Then V7 will have masternode signatures for secure communication (ECDSA).

After that maybe a couple fixes, then we'll be out a beta. After that my next project is masternode payments. I'd say 3-4 weeks out maybe? Then we'll start the RCs and after the network grows and we have stability, I'll opensource.

Still too risky to do a count down clock?

Can a few people try to DarkSend with the updated client? It should be functioning pretty smoothly, I'd like to hear what people think of the new user experience.

Thanks

v0.10.3.5-unk-beta / w7-64-prof / encrypted wallet

darksend does not work - i tried to send 1 DRK to a v0.9.1.2-unk-beta-address

"Error: The DarkSend requires a collateral transaction and could not locate the input! (code -4)"?

Edit: declick "Use DarkSend" --> the transaction works

Edit 2: i was only asked at the first transaction to give my decrypt-pw - but after that - transaction 2 + 3 - i can send coins without giving my pw

Edit 3: i created a v0.10.3.5-unk-beta-wallet on a third pc - but the same Error as above while trying DarkSend to this v0.10.3.5-unk-beta-address

Edit 4: completed the darkcoin.conf with the addnodes from the list of masternodes in the "konsole"

getpoolinfo

{
"connected_to_masternode" : "",
"current_masternode" : "94.23.22.195:9999",
"is_connected_to_masternode" : false,
"state" : 2,
"entries" : 0,
"entries_accepted" : 0,
"signatures" : 0
}

no success of DarkSend

I still can't get the Mac wallet to work, it just quits unexpectedly before opening.

Works great the input is shuffled between different sending addresses and I can't see the real receiving address using http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/

Thank you for the update - so this means a month (or more?) before Darksend is out of beta and fully public?

It wont be released until it ready, I know that vague, but we want to make sure all the bugs are worked out so the final product works exactly the way it should.

Technically DarkSend works now, we just want to make it better, we hope everyone understands and agrees.

Yes, eduffield's professionalism is praiseworthy. I was just seeking a guesstimate - what would be your best guess at this point, 1 month, 2 months, more?

Please stop asking every two days about guesstimate or best-guess of full release, they are not there yet. The coin needs to grow more and DarkSend needs to be tested, I suppose, with a lot more transactions. Only clone-makers are that eager to see the full release.
