  • Auto switch workers with personal Coin Sets and Coin's Difficulty range for every Worker

Oh.. First X11 multipool.

Who is the admin? If you check the profit they say Profit/HIRO, what means that they set HIRO as the reference profit, but they should use DRK, just like BTC is reference profit for sha256, LTC is reference for scrypt and VTC reference for scrypt-N

Quote
Profit/HIRO shows Coin Profitability relative to HIRO (HIROCoin) Profitability ratio. In other words, it shows an estimate of how much more you will earn mining this coin than if you were mining HIRO (usually you can earn more mining alternate coins).

And by the way, it's calculating something wrong, because it should have 1.00 as profit/HIRO but it says right now 1.07.

Edit: I guess niceman is the admin, sending him PM...

I set HIRO as reference because DARKcoin has variable block reward, but profitability calculation based on reward.
HIRO profitability some tome become not 1, because HIRO difficulty changes from last profit check.

We NEED more hash power to find some blocks! Smiley

Not a fan sorry. Good effort though.

Just a tip for your slogan - "privacy-coin" shouldn't have a hyphen in it (in this context). It should be two separate words. Hyphens are used when the compound word is used as an adjective, not as a noun. Same thing with the "transaction-system".

710 pages in and people are still talking about a goddamn logo.. holy fucking shit..

i don't care about the logo, i don't suspect anyone really care besides cheerleaders..

but i do care about bullshit.. the less bullshit you write, the better. I'm talking about "11 high performance hashing solutions chained together" which is about the biggest crock of shit i've ever heard..

these are not solutions.. they are not "high performance".. the term "high performance" means fuckall in cryptocurrencies because it's all relative..

Lens flares are not that bad (neither are good) but the texture looks more like concrete than metal to me.

Am I the only one who noticed that he wrote: "an decentralized"?
I consider my English to be relatively bad, but I think it should be "a decentralized".
The point is that a logo needs to be clear and recognisable when expressed in different media at varying resolutions and tones. Better to use two dimensions , without introducing light and interference effects.

'.. a decentralized..'  (English = decentralised ) would be correct.

Ok, the point was the a/an, so I didn't care how I should spell the word. Roll Eyes
(As I said, I have never lived amongst people who speak English.)

Lens flares and overuse of 3d are faux pas in graphic design.

THIS IS AMAZING! Excellent work, I love it! Smiley

No offense to droptable who put in a lot of work, this is just my opinion, am I the only one who thinks this doesn't look good at all? The overdone textures, lensflare, actual "coin" design. We just took a step away from that and here we are going backwards. This feels like we didn't like the "D" and simply wanted to replace it. We were looking for an actual brand logo and we found it, we just need to tweak it to our liking, not put on a metal textured coin.

100% agree. It does not look professional.

3D anything is completely the wrong direction.

50DRK to anyone who can find a professional logo with lensflare on it. (mind you, I said professional. if you google lensflare on a logo you do get results, and none of them are professional in the slightest)

Well, I prefer the current D because unlike with this new "trendy" font style (seriously, a lot of shitcoin used this font style lately!) I can easily tell it's a D.

All buy order in DRK/USD are mine... Let's make some history to unblock this pair.

On it!

I think while the logo is more ok, the coin design needs A LOT of work to be professional-looking. In fact I think we are regressing heavily with the coin / 3D. Colour scheme is also not to my liking (I prefer black & gold, must've mentioned it a few times Grin) but that's always highly subjective.

Sounds like we need 11 x logo's.

Then everyone will be happy because they get to choose which one they like.  This is virtual cash after all. It's not like we have to get the printing presses all stocked up with ink.

I think the process should be like this to achieve optimum result:

1) pick a logo (done)

2) Ask for multiple variations on the chosen logo, color variations or improvements (with bounty for the winner?)

3) Pick the best from them (+award bounty to winner?)

4) Issue specifications for the design of the 2D / 3D coin based on what we want to be on it (like the 101010101010 the D's, whether we want it to write darkcoin on it or not, colors etc)

5) Wait from the artists for the best coin design

6 - in the future): Use a variation of (5) for physical DRKs or issue a new bounty for proposals.

Step between 3 and 4 is whether we actually want a 2D/3D coin design or we are ok with just the logo.

I agree with this. A colour palette really needs to be decided on & set in stone, then branding guide can be created, then that can be used to inform all media created from that point (including the much-needed website redesign).

At these levels, bitcoin is vulnerable to darkcoin and zerocash.

When the media gets going about the lack of privacy within bitcoin compared to virtual cash of darkcoin, that will have an impact on people.

Maybe we should change the name to DarkBitCoin and say it is Bitcoin 2.0  Grin
