At long last I finished the one-pager for Darkcoin.

You can see the doc here:
http://wowgwow.com/Darkcoin-one-pager.pdf
http://wowgwow.com/Darkcoin-one-pager.docx

From experience, having all the most processed and digested info on one-page makes it very easy for journalists, bloggers, readers etc. to tap in. I believe this will make our marketing efforts much easier.

Since neither English nor technology are my first "languages", please feel free to rephrase anything.

My 2cents.

ChompyZ, only one problem that I see is that the chart showing how a transaction goes is outdated.  We now use throw away addresses when the change is returned to the original payer.  I wouldn't call it just coinjoin, but rather a hybrid or combination of coinjoin and single use addresses or something like that.  I'd also say simple yet highly effective combination of coinjoin and single use addresses.  Definitely use the new chart though Smiley

Otherwise, it's awesome, thanks!

Thanks for everyone's input.

I've corrected the following and updated the files (same links):

1. replaced logo
2. changed 'competative' => 'competitive'
3. replaced Darksend chart to V3 instead of V2.
4. I made the 'Other' section a bit shorter so that it all fits in one-page
5. changed wording to "hybrid decentralized approach of coinjoin & 'single-use throw-away addresses'"
6. changed wording to "Transactions use 'throw-away addresses' to conceal the identity "

I'm here for ANY changes, wording, suggestions etc.
If you want to copy the files and place them anywhere else - fell free.
I simply put them on an empty address I have that has no association to anything.

Sorry. Not be disrepectful....but who is he?

A crypto startup based in Switzerland developing ATMs and payment processing for several coins (currently BTC, LTC, DOGE, VTC).

First time I noticed him was in the Dogecoin subreddit. He is very active and very very generous towards charities. He made a great name for himself, also maintains the dogecoin tip bot which is probably the most well developed tipbot out there (incredible volume) and now he's started https://moolah.io which allows you to pay for anything online pretty much with cryptocurrencies.

So basically you can go to any online store and pay with cryptos through them?  If that's possible, OMG!  It opens up the world!

People, We HAVE TO get him to accept us, please twitter him!!

I'm going to drop the security exploit bounties and shift them to a hack-a-thon event later when the source is released.

Also will add a bounty for the first altcoin ATM accepting darkcoin, and a bounty for a comprehensive media mailing list. Not sure if I can bounty the PR statements because they'll be ongoing. Someone might just have to be nice and donate their time for those.

Does anyone know why the blockchain is all wonky? I was looking at the fundraiser address and couldn't find my donation. After comparing times I found it in http://explorer.darkcoin.io/tx/51b89879abdeaf32c6bded8303d42ea26e2e4513036da2b51fb3405ea2df8c1f#i0 but neither the from or to is correct and it says 86 when it was 75 which it also says.

Why is this blockchain so messed up even without darksend?

Not sure why it displays addresses starting with an m, or how to convert between the two, but it shows the same stuff http://explorer.darkcoin.io/address/Xc8xGSP7FwWGPQpgw298z7NYdA8xJK8ooh and http://explorer.darkcoin.io/address/mgy4jEpC7Fiw1ahinhoHxVu5ep9yCmPjem

As for the 86 vs 75, I'm not sure why you're confused. It spent an input containing 86 coins, sending 75 to donation address, and the rest back to yourself on a new address. This is how all coins derived from btc operate.

I know I paid via darksend, maybe others have and that is why it looks weird?  I really have trouble following a transaction so I wouldn't know a proper blockchain from anything else??  What is your reasoning/way of observation?

Just a quick question on the mailing lists being talked about: I'm not a marketing guru so I don't know how it all works, but if I gathered a list of journo's email addresses and occasionally sent them press releases for our coin, wouldn't that essentially be spamming?

Not at all. I'm a journalist and I get upwards of 150 media releases a day. A journo will scan and delete releases that aren't relevant to their field or current brief. That's the worst that could happen. Publicity agencies send releases every day to much larger mailing lists than we could hope to compile.
