what actually happened with other pools? today morning I had 30% of network

The main pool.darkcoin.io seems to have died so that wiped out 5GH of the network.

Cheers for disabling the registrations. You could as well consider increasing fees as soon as you are getting to close to 50% with other pools up. Same way BTCGuild handled them getting
to close to the 50% mark.

You could actively monitor it and up it when over 45 and drop it when under 40 or something, would net you some extra coins in short time and would cause a bit of a shuffle of power across other pools.

That's an excellent idea!

Yessssssssssssss.

My second day here... And found a block yesterday..

Thanks every one.
Thanks my mum.
 Thanks my wife for suporting me.

Pffff calm down ...hahahaha

LOL, it's not a block, you won the Lottery Smiley

Sad to say, if you were the pool member that solved a block, it's still shared by everyone (well, that's the point of pooling, LOL)

Please add MSI 280x Gaming Edition (38SB)

Code:
"intensity" : "13",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "darkcoin",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",
"shaders" : "0",
"gpu-engine" : "1140",
"gpu-fan" : "30-97",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"temp-overheat" : "85",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"failover-only" : true,
"shares" : "0"

Output = 2.220 Mh/s using latest SPH-SGMINER

Wall output for 4 cards + CPU/mobo/fan = 620 W  (normal scrypt 1250 W)

135 W for 2.22 Mh/s = 61 Watts per Mh/s

I will be a creating a master thread this weekend.

For the 6850* and 5830** (same overclocking settings) my hashrates are 1050 and 958 respectively with sph-sgminer 4.1 (so you may want to add it).

If you are collecting CPU data, I think we can add info for that too.

* --kernel darkcoin -I 18
** --kernel darkcoin -I 17 --shaders 1120 --thread-concurrency 14

Added! Thank you!

Hey there...
Using a Sapphire HD6970 2GB

Getting around 1.470 -1.520 MH/s with SPH-sgminer 4.1.0 with intensity set to 17 other settings re like this:
-g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 3200 --no-adl

Card is not OC'ed... runnig stock and cool... with the Arctic Cooling Acellero Extreme plus II helping alot Wink

Added! Thank you!

What would you suggest running on a 7970?
core clock between 1050 and 1150, mem clock 1250, 256 worksize, -g 2, --lookup-gap 2, intensity 13 will get you running around 2.1Mh/s completely stable.

Added this also. Thanks.

I am collecting CPU data also.

Honestly I think that the Korean pools are trying to screw with the network. The Korean p2pools suddenly went down by 100s of MH, but the network didn't. My guess is it's genuinely some kind of attempted targeted attack USING coinmine.pl.

Anybody else got any ideas?

It's one user - address Xo4oHjU1J6cKckqeaSWjEQUtVBPX8TZC2K . 100MH/s.
Leaving cause not profitable.

It's p2pool. Why attack coinmine.pl?

I run http://uswest.mine.nu:7903/
        http://asia01.mine.nu:7903/
        http://asia02.mine.nu:7903/

,

http://darkcoin.mine.nu/

and

https://github.com/chaeplin/p2pool-drk .

Do you know this user ? I am seeing at least one or two more farms out of p2p sadly Sad Hopefully they come back down the road after they see the value. Maybe they have made enough mining so far.I still don't understand why folks don't join p2p, it is by far my preferred method for any coin. No hassle with registrations, no finger pointing, no payout problems and ddosers never attack p2p I guess mostly out of respect.

I just look at p2pool graph. People dosn't like high variance of income.

aahhh finally...

pxe booted the first 6 blades took some time to figure it out... now, if i could just get the last 2 power cables i would be able to fire up the last 8 blades...

This thing is for sha-256, right?  You're gonna mine bitcoin or something with it, right?

nope, its a blade server, imagine 14 computers with each 2x 3GHz xeon e5450 processors in 1 big box, 112 processing cores in total, each doing 47KH/s mining darkcoins

WOW!

and i need 2 power cables to get the last 8 up and running right now only 48 cores are mining

here is a picture:

Yeah guys, need to get some hashing power into another pool. Coinmine.pl is over 80% of the network now

you should all keep at least one pool as a failover in cases like these

WTF?!?!?! How has coinmine increased in hashing power despite the warnings. Has the admin there still not suspended new signups?

There are a whole bunch of reliable pools to pick from now…

Just noticed and disabled registrations

feeleep

thanks feeleep - that's good of you Smiley

the shown network speed doesnt drop as fast, the network speed is calculated over x number of blocks

A lot of propaganda will keep coming for Satoshi. I had a hunch that this guy would be a fake puppet Nakamoto that the media will try to create just like most of the fake interviews they do on supposed terror sites or other media created shit.

Nice. It was probably something like US$25k brand new, for a 48 core blade server.

With GPUs, you're looking at around 2MH per 250W, give or take. But then, a 48 core server can do a lot of things a gpu can't. Smiley

+1

That is way cool.

but on the other hand, i can mine cpu only coins when they start :-p

but the real reason i bought this blade server is openstack :-)

right now im working on a setup where, if i start blade 1 first, openstack spins up, if i start blade 14, all blades spin up in pxe mode, and is ready for mining :-p
