Maybe another year-long bumpy journey towards 0.02 range is about to begin. How unexpected, lol.

I want to know something from the bagholder mates: how long did you keep your DASH? I still have mine from two years ago

and happily holding Smiley

Yup.... We've been there since the start... Wink

I started buying in April 2014 https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/address.dws?XosXcEm3Y6Mv6tmBKd1rUWhqB9Pf1hABj7.htm

https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/dash

My first masternode, still going strong:

Interesting, i always thought you arrived later at the Dash scene. I started buying in May 2014 where i saw Dash jump from 0.014 to 0.026 in a matter of days
and bought at both price levels. They are part of my very first masternode. My best buy moment though was in oktober 2014, when Dash was dumped to the
0.0051 price level ....  those good old days when Bitcoin itself was still trading in the $300 range, i call it the Golden Age of Dash Buying  Sad

I think Dash investors give a whole new meaning to the term "bagholders"

agree.
to me it's pretty obvious.

run a node isn't cheap(it isn't expensive, but still some money) and without an incentive why would anyone run a node?
the reward doesnt need to be huge, but some incentive is needed. IMO Dash have found a good point.

Since 19 to 21 cents...  Cool

I bought a nice bag at higher price but I'm still happy, DASH price must EXPLODE

by the way my dash core v0.12.0.58 is on the reseau (three bars on the net out of 4) but does not sync any more. Is it normal ?

Depends if your wallet is synced to latest block or not. You can check latest block here : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/
and verify that with your wallet latest block under Tools - Information.

Be aware there are several steps of syncing going on in the wallet :

- syncing of the blockchain
- syncing of masternodes
- syncing of masternode winners
- other syncings

The syncing of the blockchain is normally the fastest ongoing sync, the other syncings will take some time.
If it turns out your wallet is out of sync with the blockchain and it does not seem to be syncing any further, you can :

A : stop the wallet and restart your wallet

or

B : stop the wallet and delete your peers.dat (which is located in the same directory as your wallet.dat*) and restart your wallet

* do not delete your wallet.dat !

thank you qwizzie for explanations
so latest block is 585261
and my wallet latest block is 432015
i have 8 connexions, so i will search my peers.dat

If that fails you can also download Udjinm6's Dash Bootstrap, which is pretty much up to date and could help you with syncing more easily :

https://github.com/UdjinM6/dash-bootstrap

I think I mined about 700 Dash (Darkcoin) back in 2014, but lost them due to multiple hardware failures. Then I doubled down and bought and saved up to a first and then a second MN. I'm definitely in it for the long game, and hope that my MNs will get my children through university later on in life. That would be a great investment if that would come into realization Wink

Prediction:

After this month, there will never be another chance to exchange 1000 DASH for 1000 XMR. Quote me and laugh all you want. My reasoning is supported by recent GitHub activity

Prediction:

After this month there will never be a blockchain that manages to accrue value through hiding stuff as much as a transparent one can through showing stuff. Quote me and laugh all you want . My reasoning is supported by about 10,000 years of monetary media.

You also have prediction about price? Cheesy

the site dash.org does not work... pending to icann verification .
reason ?

Nothing evil.

Evan didn't see/click the contact validation email so the registrar automatically suspended the domain.

We'll get it back online once we get in touch with Evan, but it may be in the morning.

thank you for the response

Without any additional info I can only say that if problem persists after wallet restart make sure that timezone in your OS settings is the correct one for your location.

Is it me or the fees applied by shapeshift are going down? I could have changed dash with a relatively ridicolous fee of 0,5%, sure not on par with top scenarios but way better than expected.

More wallets with small fees are great news

Or, i just messed up math..
