i'm making 15 per hour with 1.3, i think it's correct
It's fairly close. After 9 hours I have 2,157 in my wallet and 1,347 on the pool @ 40MH/s = 389/hour or 9,336/day vs 11,320 expected. However there's a gap between 2:56am and 5:41am where the pool (XHash) shows zero credits to my account. If you re-do the calculation on 6 hours rather than 9 then it comes out to 584/hour or 14,016/day.
Was XHash down for a long time overnight? That would explain the gap in credits. I haven't checked my failover pools for activity yet.

But the new wallet keeps giving me the error.
Are you sure there aren't still any processes of the older version running in task manager ?
Did you copy and paste addnode 188.226.161.169 from previous post? Should be addnode=188.226.161.169 in your config file.
