What are the best settings for a sapphire toxic r9 280x

This is what im using for my R9 270's, you can just adjust to your 280x accordingly.

sgminer -d 0,1,2 -k qubitcoin -o stratum+tcp://deep.suprnova.cc:3222 -u user.1 -p x -g 4 -w 128  --difficulty-multiplier 256 --gpu-engine 1020 --gpu-memclock 1450 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 20481  -I 20  --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 0 --auto-fan --temp-target 77 --temp-overheat 83 --temp-cutoff 85

Deepcoin looks good, what are some other Qubit algo coins? I haven't noticed them before.

That'll be because up until now, Qubitcoin has been the only altcoin to use the qubit algo exclusively --- some of the myriads offer qubit as part of their repertoire.

If you're looking for off-the-beaten-track combos, other near neighbours are the two new “nist5” coins, Icebergcoin and Talkcoin, they use the same direct chaining combination H0(H1(H3(H4(H5))))) as qubit but they use a different set of 5 NIST candidates: (BLAKE - Grøstl - JH - Keccak - Skein) instead of qubit's (Luffa - CubeHash - SHAvite - SIMD - Echo).

I've no comment to make on any of the other qualities of these two altcoins, this is merely an objective description of the hash fns in the combo.

Cheers,

Graham

Dev can you do something about the hashharder pool?  remove it from the first post maybe?  or else ask them to fix it?  It's not working since two days.

Luckily there're two other working pools:  http://204.12.193.178:2334 and http://deep.suprnova.cc but this hashharder pool should be up again asap

Anyone willing to test my P2Pool?

url: http://204.12.193.178:2334

Please make sure you add --difficulty-multiplier=256 to sgminer command to avoid "share above target" error.

Sure! But tomorrow Smiley now it's too nice on suprnova Smiley

Nice one, US p2pool node.
U are on other side of our planet, too high ping. 4.5x higher ping than to suprnova from me. But can U share source of this p2pool nod? I can make EU node if someone will be interested.

There are many pools that are not public, that's why these coins have so much unaccounted for hash. http://x11.ltc1btc.com/ for instance and that's 80 ghs on just one pool. Pretty sure the fpga thing is just speculation, private pools however are not.

The private pools exist for sure, but you can see the hashrates in wallets.
Speculation or not, this must have been noticed. Too many signs indicating the same, can't ignore.
Those who use such a hardware are not interested in delivering proofs. What if you get the proof within some months and realize too late?

Just if I go on a rental site and rent the five biggest rig in X11, I can have like 3Gh/s to rape a coin at his launch Smiley
https://www.miningrigrentals.com/rigs/x11
https://www.betarigs.com/list?miner_type=5&rig_size=5&rent_duration=3%2C6%2C12%2C24%2C48%2C72%2C168&support=0&quality=0

Yes but 3 gh/s is not 20gh/s

No enough rigs for 20gh/s
