why did dcr go up any news?

I picked up some DCR on Polo. Is https://wallet.decred.org/ a secure wallet to store DCR? Does it work smoothly?

i think 20$ for dcr will be soon .and this year in top 5 marketcap ,i see some volum and it can start moving DCR quick to 20$ value

but i've made a deposit yesterday and it were okay(and fast). No idea what happened...

Well nobody knows because there is no immanent value to any coin, it's all supply and demand. But my personal method (that worked well so far with my crypto investment) is to compare the features and find undervalued coins. Looking at http://coinmarketcap.com/ ask yourselves where on that list do you think Decred should/could/would be if the general crypto public was aware of Decred's innovations, development, features. Personally I think it should be near DASH. So suppose that happens in the foreseeable future; so that Decred's market cap would be 60 mil. By then, let's say there will be 3 mil Decred in circulation, that would put Decred's value at $20 a coin.

Probably. No deposit history on polo at that time when there were already 12 confirmations on the transaction.

It's polo's problem. Never had issues with ttrex.

It finally showed up in my balance a half hour ago. However, it took 4 hours for the deposit to complete.

Never had a problem with Poloniex.

I can't understand what's wrong.

I don't think gui supports staking yet, but it's really not that tricky to set up if you can use the command line/terminal at all, especially now that there are example config files.

1) Setup dcrd.conf with your username and password for rpc.
2) Make a script bat/sh file that launches dcrd with the conf file, like: "dcrd /C dcrd.conf"
3) Let dcrd sync.
4) Setup dcrwallet.conf with your username and password for rpc.
5) Make a script bat/sh file that launches dcrwallet with the conf file, like: "dcrwallet /C dcrwallet.conf"
6) Setup dcrctl.conf with your username and password for rpc.
7) Register on stakepool, like stakepool.eu, and follow the instructions to get a new address, and validate it using commands like:
    dcrctl.exe /C C:\path\to\decred\dcrctl.conf /wallet getnewaddress
    dcrctl.exe /C C:\path\to\decred\dcrctl.conf /wallet validateaddress Dsf...
Import the p2sh script after submitting your validated address thinger on the stakepool
9) Buy some tickets using the command from stakeppool, using dcrctl with a command like:
    dcrctl.exe /C C:\path\to\decred\dcrctl.conf /wallet purchaseticket "default" 20 1 DcpcZE5RAJiDipEQrx6KbcrwjLJKbovrSyq 10 Dse3AUS4LwuZZ28bRttyenNKPXdF6atK7rw 5

It's certainly not the easiest thing to setup, but it shouldn't take more than an hour, and there were people to help me get setup on #decred on freenode irc if you get stuck. And now I'm staking like a vampire hunter

I wanna stake DCR. I have no coding skills. So how can I stake?

I heard a new wallet is out in normal format. Is it now possible to stake just by depositing to one's address?

i see DCR will be best crypto this or next year .And it will replace eth&etc&etf an ather coins .Decred is pow and pos . And devs said decred will be doing smart contracts  .That mean , We dont need any P&D coins like eth exp etc and .... How much amount  eth, it will be more than 100 mil ,lol.And do some forks each 100 mil   _it will cost 100 sat  
Decred has only 21 mil. Smart contracts and other new things will come , we  know , devs are working hard.That will make DCR best crypto .DCR will be number one soon.
