True, but there are few (yet existing) people with a lot of them from BTC mining and then got teased with VNL mining before possibly switching them back on for DCR.

In my view it's clear... A lot of people started mining DCR because it's profitable - they mine and sell. But due to the fact that DCR ist just one more altcoin not much ppl want to buy.

It's simple economics. High supply / low demand = decreasing price.

If all the miners would restrain their coins there would be a shortage of supply. If the demand would stay the same the result would be rising prices.

Low supply / medium demand = at least price stability

Therefore we shouldn't sell all our mined coins now... If the price will drop to far I see DCR dying.

I need to get my hands on some but have no idea of any that aren't so old that you can't find them anymore. I was literally about to buy like 3-4 GPUs today but now I'm unsure of what to do. Huh

Not a lot of documentation on it. I'm investigating - looks to be eight quite awesome FPGAs and access to them.

@ocminer - do you know of any bitstreams for the Cairnsmore 1 units?

Not yet - IIRC it was not hard to "convert" the bitstream from ZTEX to CM1's (just some difference with the USB driver ..) but i've sold all my CM1's long time ago and haven't got the possibility to test/develop anything for them anymore.

I believe you need the HDL in order to do it, which he (thankfully) didn't release.

guessing fud so you can buy cheaper Dcr...... price has been pretty stable and will fluctuate for alittle while until things get moving again. like most things....

There's optimized source from me, actually, but it's my own personal dev copy and I don't want to offer support on it, so while I made it public, I'm not advertising it until everything's user-friendly.

Also, I never released an x15 binary, but you might find one of the original stolen Tahiti or Hawaii ones around.
