Just made a purchase on cryptsy thinking I was buying doge.
Weren't you concerned about the high price?

Doge's dirt cheap. Fast growing community on reddit. Markets itself through tipping. If I sent you a tip right now, would you say no? A bit like a dog coming up to be patted. It's sitting on 12 mil market cap, and that's pretty small for a tipping coin. How does digitalcoin differentiate from litecoin? Doge seems to be a mental onramp for the untech savvy into crypto. That's worth a lot.

I wanted people to tip artists for music over 10 years ago. Now it might happen.

Top 10 wallets:

1: 791989.94000000 coins (~6.5% of todays total supply)
2: 375000.00000000 coins (~3.1% of todays total supply)
3: 279577.90000000 coins (~2.8% of todays total supply)
4: 247000.00000000 coins (~2.0% of todays total supply)
5: 225000.00000000 coins (~1.8% of todays total supply)
6: 200001.00000000 coins (~1.6% of todays total supply)
7: 200000.00000000 coins (~1.6% of todays total supply)
8: 162016.99280914 coins (~1.3% of todays total supply)
9: 141867.32123478 coins (~1.1% of todays total supply)
10: 140885.32683688 coins (~1.1% of todays total supply)

Perhaps better than most other coins, but still pretty fucking centralized.

Heavy backers of the coin since launch and consistent miners with decent hash would be the reason for this Smiley

Or it could be big investors or wallets from exchanges...

And DGC is back on http://coinmarketcap.com!

This information says very little to begin with. One could have ten receiving addresses with 50k each. Unless you send all your coins to one specific address it will not show up in the list. I bought most of my coins when everyone was dumping dgc mined on multipools all the way down to 3000 satoshis. If you take the risk and invest in something you believe in when it's at its lowest point, you deserve to make a profit. Anyone can still make money on DGC and join the party. It will go far beyond 100k satoshis in the future, so 30-40k satoshis is quite a bargain.

Off-topic: Same as above goes for everyday life and support. Everyone knows how much cheering you get when life is going well for you ("We always believed in you!"), but if shit starts to hit the fan it may be that not even your own family believes in you. Those are the times you have to start believing in yourself, because noone else will. Luckily, DGC has left this phase behind and many more people see its potential. DGC has excellent qualities and could just as well replace litecoin. People will not find out until DGC has risen in price significantly though. This is what distinguishes early adopters from the rest of the crowd. Mine and buy DGC now while the global hashrate is still in the lower thousand Mhash, or come back and mine at diff 100 or 1000.
