Update: Staking tutorial for solo mining
From the block height of 1801, if you want to Stake, you need to do the corresponding operation in your wallet. The more DISCs you Stake, the more reward you will get.

Cancel the Staking:

You could use the listpledgein command to get the txid that has been Staked.
After the Staking is successful, it will take effect after 900 blocks.

The main network is tentatively scheduled to be lanuched on July 18.
I see staking reward is working, so will the mainnet come tomorrow 7/18 ?

yea .. unfortunately DC miner is Windows only, which is especially laughable since the wallet is still linux only
but at least together with a mining proxy like Archon or Foxy-Proxy you can use your "general" linux miner

cleared the wallet problem .. thought I had overwritten anything with 0714 but since the devs chose a new distribution method .. the release contained a subdirectory previously not present ..
- stop hanging wallet >./diskcoin-cli stop
overwrite all files with v0714
- start resync >bash ./start.sh

any clue what I should do if my wallet doesnt find the correct chain ? .. keep trying to resync with the old chain that reached block 9156 :

3 days left for you to change your mind about this nonsensical plotterID limitation .. that can lead to collisions in the based hashing function ..

NewBI is a POC project too，It’s friendly to new miners or small miners. :
I cant believe it ... please have them fix their wallet-address and numerical account ID generation first - this is the first poc-coin I met that generates incompatible IDs to burstcoin
I wont replot my drives for a new vapour coin ... please FIX this ..
and while you are at it .. where does your customized version of jminer send the deadlines and stuff ?
so that I can replace it with my existing combo of multimining proxy and scavenger

I'm sorry, this is not a bug. NEWBI can't work together with burst and bhd，It's independent with others, It means you have to make a choice. To mine NEWBI or others.
The OP says you can multi-mine. Which coins can you multi-mine with Diskcoin?
Update: Recently we have received a lot of questions about Plotter ID, now we provide a Diskcoin PID Generator here: https://diskcoin.org/PidGenerator/ . You can click this link to generate a PID.
After our mainnet online, it may not be compatible with the PID of other wallets. So recommended that you use this tool to generate PID to mine DISC.
If you do not use the PID generated by this tool to plot, you will not be able to multi-mine (mine other PoC coins while mine DISC).
Theoretically, if you PID is applicable, you could mine other POC coins together.
