Donationcoin will upgrade the Digital Wallet Version every 40000 Blocks from Block 32000 with new checkpoints for added security.
These will be minor versions i.e. 1.2.1, 1.2.2
Next Minor Update will be after Block 72000.
For major changes to the wallet coin such as new functionality and features.
These will be major version changes i.e. 1.3.0, 1.4.0

There is a ReadMe included in the download and donationcoin.conf has everything in there to solo mine. You just need to uncomment the two parts.
To solo mine you just point the mining program at http://127.0.0.1 and make sure the username and password in your .BAT file matches the username and password in your donationcoin.conf file.
But to be honest with the difficulty where it is, and where it is going, your better off mining at our pool - http://pool.donation-coin.org
It has 0% Fees. You get every coin you submit a share for.

Could you set up an easier conf file and tell us how to solo mine it? Seeing as no pool is working at the moment.
Our nethash was right up in the 40MH/s only an hour ago.
Probably down to people updating, the exchanges are updating and the pools too.

Also down to us exposing CharityMiningPools as thieves by periodically turning off their CRON payout jobs and people setting their miners back up on the Official Mining Pool.
