WE NEED YOU TO EMAIL CRYPTSY!!!

Basically to get a coin on to an exchange takes a lot of nagging from varied people worldwide who express a need for a certain cryptocurrency to be added.

Cryptsy is by far the biggest exchange out there and we need to be on there.

So to achieve this we are asking everyone who is involved with Donationcoin to sign up to Cryptsy and then click 'Support' on the left of their website.

Simply write a short message or a long message if you wish expressing why you believe Donationcoin (DON) should be added and make sure to select 'New Coin to Consider' within the 'Type' field.

Cryptsy are going to be directly exchanging cryptocurrency for FIAT shortly and this is a huge step in the cryptoworld and for Donationcoin this would make our fundraising efforts a lot easier to complete.

Message them now to put Donationcoin on - https://www.cryptsy.com

2nd VPS purchased from the funds paid for helping TrollCoin upgrade their dated wallet.

This VPS will be a complete clone of the 1st and be a mirror for the Official Mining Pool, Blockchain Explorer and DNSSeedNode.

This will bring stability and if for any reason the first pool were to crash a seamless transition will happen between VPS's.

Upon hearing news that Comic Relief in the UK are looking into excepting Cryptocurrency I instantly emailed them:

Hello Comic Relief,

We would like to welcome you to a new form of currency for the internet called Donationcoin.

What is Donationcoin?

Online there are already many variants of Bitcoin which you may or may not of heard of such as Litecoin, Dogecoin, Reddcoin and many many more. Unlike the original "Internet Money" Bitcoin or other variants, Donationcoin is specifically molded around donating to charity and to helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Spencer Lievens (Co-Creator/Lead Developer) and Muiz Rana (Co-Creator/Developer) have created this brand new "cryptocurrency" named Donationcoin (http://www.donation-coin.org) to enable people worldwide to help people to live a better life. Currently we have 13,500,000 coins on reserve and from these Donationcoin we want to give Comic Relief 250,000 Donationcoin. In total 90,000,000 Donationcoin will slowly enter the internet over the course of 10 years. This is achieved by the Donationcoin community using their own computers to generate the Donationcoin and trade on the exchanges to further increase it's value.

Where's the Donationcoin stored and how are money transactions possible on across the networks?

People simply download a software wallet for Donationcoin (Linux, Mac or Windows) which enables them to send and receive Donationcoin.

Wallet Downloads - http://www.donation-coin.org

What is Donationcoin? And why should Comic Relief use them?

Cryptocurrencies like Donationcoin are peer-to-peer networks which form a digital currency and transactions network. These networks are secured by cryptography. A decentralised network of nodes is responsible for creating new currency and validating transactions. Their supply is also controlled by particular nodes called miners. In general, cryptocurrencies are designed to have a limited supply in order to keep the currency scarce and valuable.

To simplify, all the Donationcoin software wallets which are all connected throughout the Internet form the network.

Who produces Donationcoin?

With Donationcoin new coins are rewarded to users known as miners. Miners use computing power to solve complex mathematical problems to sign transactions. Once a miner has found a solution to these problems, their node will broadcast a block of transactions to the network. Once the network has agreed the solution is valid, the block is added to the existing blockchain and the miner is rewarded new currency. The blockchain can be compared to a digital ledger which contains a record of all transactions made across the network. Overtime the reward for mining blocks is programmed to decrease and as more miners compete to produce the next new block the difficulty of doing so is increased.

How can our Charity sell Donationcoin to get FIAT ("real money")?

Donationcoin is on three exchanges online, the Swisscex exchange (http://www.swisscex.com), Bleutrade exchange (https://bleutrade.com) and CoinNext exchange (https://coinnext.com). Our current market value is at 0.003891p for each Donationcoin. Please bear in mind we are a new coin and our value will only increase once more charities start to except the currency. With this we recommend trading your 250,000 Donationcoin either "late in the game" or slowly in increments at your own discretion.

How do we accept Donationcoin and get the 250,000 Donationcoin?

We recommend your Finance Department download the software wallet to a secure computer. We have Linux, Mac and Windows versions available here - http://www.donation-coin.org  Once downloaded and installed simply contact us with your receive address and we shall transfer the coins directly to your wallet. We will also send a Donationcoin banner/button with your receive address for people Internationally to recognise you accept Donationcoin. If you have any issues with downloading the wallet or installing please email [email protected]

If you wish to see all your block rewards you can go to the 'Transactions' section. Then in the 'Transaction Filter' select 'Bonus' then click Filter.

This will show all your individual blocks you found and their respective bonus.

You'll notice that some of you got 4 coins per block for a while. This was whilst we were testing the block rewards to make sure they working.

(We have to fund the Block Rewards from our own mined coins (Me and Syyyn) as the Donations are being pooled to go to a worthy cause, voted by you guys)

Block Rewards are enabled (2 Donationcoin per Block found)

It will be 2 once it is reactivated. You can see that in your transaction section on the pool.
Ok. Understood.
It just looks like your pool offer 100 coin per block. You should clear what it's just couple of coins for the finder)

And 5000 warning is too small, 20000 maybe?

I just spoke to Syyyn and the block rewards are currently disabled, sorry, I apologise.  Embarrassed

It wasn't re-enabled after we had restarted the pool.

We are currently enabling that right now.  Wink

2 Coins per Block is the current block reward.

It was originally, and most pools are, 1 coin reward per block.

Currently we have:
