Seems like it will do well once it does get added.
We aren't seeing the devs all over hyping and saying stupid shit. Makes me believe (hope) they are busy working on correct strategies to bring EAC out for mainstream usage, rather than a hyped pump and dump.
Just my take, y'all do what you will.

Your config looks fine, firewall checked? perhaps the dot in the username? or just reboot the machine. I run solo with same conf files and got 1 block

Yes, all the time! So bad, because i like this pool. But the disconnects are so annoying!
yes , pool is working fine but lots of disconnects since last 2-3 hours. I hope it's get fixed .
Same here. That pool disconnects my rigs several times per hour. Many shares were lost

Restarted earthcoin.qt and let it sync to the network.
Here is my cgminer batch file.

cgminer --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:15678 -u waramp22.htpc -p mypassword --gpu-engine 1130 --gpu-memclock 1650 --temp-target 85 -I 20 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 21712 --lookup-gap 2 -g 1
Im getting a pool 0 down or credentials invalid error. I had already setup earthcoin.qt and was pool mining for a bit and i have a balance in my wallet. So im not sure if i can change now or if i have to start over.

Guys, lets get real, this is just another shitty coin with minor tweaks that bring NOTHING of substancial innovation or value. And im getting tired of these cheesy "coin for the people" punchlines.

I agree. Im getting slightly annoyed with the amount of coins that are being released. The more coins that are released the less chance, in my opinion, crypto has of going mainstream as the "public" will see more and more shitcoins like Doge etc and scams that will harm its acceptance.
