Well, I'm synched without any addnode in my config. So I don't think that neccessary.
Now we need a pool. I only see http://edu.multi-pool.eu/ alive, but is it working?

It started synching again here too now. I guess it is going to take a while, as my last sync was in July or something.

Developer I'm not, did a bit of vb6 & javascript in school but that's it. Nowadays it's more html, css & network admin stuff. I can review code and am open to helping with testing if that helps.

I'm having trouble getting the wallet to sync on 2 different windows computers.
I have opened the conf file, and saved it as in the instructions provided by educoin.
This did not work for me. I have also made sure that my firewall software is disabled. Any ideas, suggestions?

Bargain with developer. Between everyone we should be able to pay at least 250M edu to get the job done. I pledge 50M so we are 1/5 of the way to 250M already.
Sell the potential! Jeesh, the developer could retire his entire family with 250M edu if the coin takes off. Even if it hits 1 penny this dev would be good.
Mass marketing and awareness is the next step after algo switch.

The time is now! A mass extinction of alts is coming soon and at this pace edu will disappear with all the losers and scam coins. This is not fud, this is fact!

I am looking to communicate with key leaders from this community. Several have consistently appeared and offered to help, and the community here as well as myself are open to seeing plans written up publicly here. And of course it's clear we are more than ready to take EduCoin forward.
