Yup, looks like the dev abandoned it... So sad. So sad there are people too blinded by greed to support the community.

Hasn't posted on this thread since. Hasn't answered my question about premining/giveaways. R.I.P. another shitcoin. sigh... Started off okay, now I'm cashing out. Oh well, at least I made a little profit.

It had a cool name too.

Are you joking? February 06, 2014 was yesterday...
Yes we want him h24 ready to answer our question, and of course with no social life  Grin

Yeah, because answering a question doesn't take literally less than 2 minutes to do. Social life or not, that's no excuse.

And d3rsty, I really don't think you understood what I was saying. Re-read my post.

I read your post, you are saying he has not posted in this thread in a few days.. so what? Have some patience, or leave with your "little profit", or maybe try messaging him on cryptocointalk, or the IRC chat #Electric-VOLT.

It seems like you are talking shit just for the sake of talking shit. I'm sure he has a job and a life, that, in my eyes, could very well be an excuse to miss a few days of posting in this specific thread. Of course I have no idea, maybe he did abandon it, but I would wait a while longer before assuming that.

I'm going all in 1 day before coinmarketcap + any major exchange.  "pre-cryptsy" fedoracoin was a lesson

This coin is anything but dead.  It has held a 1000% price rise for over a week.  It will be 100 satoshi minimum when it goes to cryptsy which should be any day now.  Look at all the people begging for it in their request thread.  It has been number one for days.
hope you are right, but i hope it doesnt happen before i buy some lol. going to buy 1 million volt once my btc order goes through coinbase and i will continue to mine it. if it got listed to coinwarz and coinmarketcap it could help out alot as well.

weird, now the net rate is almost back to 1gh. this needs to be on cryptsy and other exchanges asap. i dont think crypto rush is big enough to keep this coin alive.

Dev, please do something and regain the lost momentum...
pretty sure they probably cashed out as soon as they could and abandoned it. I will continue to mine it over the weekend and see how things go,if it still sucks im going to switch to something else.

so is there any development going on? are there any future plans?
I think the coin is dead..again. The net rate plummeted and the diff is set to go back to 1. But i have like 70k coins sitting in unconfirmed because the rate is so low. Looks like ill be getting back on the doge train again.

Hi again and another question,
What is the solo miner in electric wallet used for?
thanks again,
Rick

That's for solo mining with the box the wallet is installed on.

Hello freegold,

OK now I understand ...you have a desktop or laptop with a integrated graphic chip like an Intel HD 4000.

So the best that you can do is to mine using your CPU.

For this you have to use CPU miner, you can find all the details here
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.654850

Binaries for Windows:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/cpuminer/files/pooler-cpuminer-2.3.2-win32.zip (32-bit)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/cpuminer/files/pooler-cpuminer-2.3.2-win64.zip  (64-bit)

Once it's done, solo mining with a CPU will take an eternity to find a block so like you did, join a pool.

Now let's presume your sign in account is freegold, you have to create a worker for each computer that you will use to mine.
Let's call it : computer1 and the password : x

So next, unzip the downloaded CPU miner:
with win 64 bits you will have this folder : pooler-cpuminer-2.3.2-win64 and inside the folder 4 files ( libcurll.dll, minerd.exe, pthread ... and zlib1)
Now create a text file, like "file.txt", open or edit you file and type:

minerd -a scrypt -t 4 -s 6 -o stratum+tcp://pool.us.hackshard.com:3341 -O freegold.computer1:x

Save it, the last thing ...you have to rename the file.txt with a .bat extension so it will become file.bat
double click on the file : file.bat (of course you can name it voltminer.bat or whatever) and normally you will start mining.

Voilà, i did my best of course you can notice that english is not my native language but I think it s not too hard to follow
