We are living in challenging time for the crypto industry now and not going only through a major correction, but also time of purging and separating good projects form bad ones. EMC2 is a good project and will last. It is just that we all should spend a little bit extra energy and a little bit of our free time supporting it.

We can all start with making sure our volume on exchanges is a bit higher.
I would use this opportunity to call you to just buy a little bit and sell just a little bit on Bittrex, or not even that, just make our market depth graph deeper and symmetrical, so we increase the liquidity.
It is very good for the coin.

Hey,

It is looking like the EMC2 module is becoming one of the most popular on our faucet! We have had over 4000 claims recently with claims coming from around the world and plenty of visits to the information module about the coin!

We have had a lot of repeat addresses coming back to claim EMC2 and our EMC2 module has been the least SPAMMED!

Help us keep the module running, our EMC2 donation address is: ed4vjtxlvfimjopu5upz3apsx15fc7tc8r

Our latest batch of claims for EMC2 have been paid in TX: 854c2816238e8fd46048aea2ea3a5be1b794e88528819ac74149e6f4059cc849

Could you please share a little bit more insights.
I am curious to learn more about the module and I believe others too.

Hey,

So each coin on our faucet has a module. Each module is specific to that coin. If you visit the website https://cryptogiveaways.org you will first see the current modules, the EMC2 one is shown below:

To make a claim the user clicks the GET SOME EMC2 button this takes them to the claim form (Shown below). All the user needs to do is enter/confirm their email address and scrolling down enter/paste their EMC2 address then they can submit the form. (We now have email authentication where after the claim has been submitted the user needs to confirm the submission via clicking the link in their email)

Second to making a claim, a user can also click the logo of the coin on the main https://cryptogiveaways.org screen and they will be presented with a coin information module. Please note we are currently re-checking all this information for each coin because as you can guess the information is constantly changing!

Our website has no advertisements, no pop-ups or annoying windows blocking your view! We are solely run off donations and thus if a coins donation address isn't kept topped up we would eventually remove it from the site (After we extinguish our own funds to try to keep it active). We only list coins we believe in.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
EMC2 should submit application to coinbase!

Coinbase just announced that they are reviewing to add 30 new currencies
https://news.bitcoin.com/coinbase-opens-the-door-to-more-than-30-new-cryptocurrencies/

To apply to be listed is at the moment FREE .
One of the criteria for inclusion is ""Demonstrable record of responding to and improving the code after a disclosure of vulnerability" - EMC2 is one of the best in that.
Another criteria is Liquidity - we have very nice volumes.

Etc.
Let's go!

hello the EMC2 community

I am relatively new to the crypto world and would like to try mining, and I chose EMC2 to start.
But I do not know where to start.
Can you help me ? I downloaded ccminer and cuda 10, what now?

Thanks a lot

gone are the days that you could mine EMC2 with a CPU or GPU  Cry

scrypt algo requires an ASIC miner, do you have one?

i'm not fond of ASIC mining, but i'm trying out a "moonlander II" USB miner ...  kinda fun; it puts out hash like 5 GPUs, but only cost $60.00 and only uses 10 watts of go juice

... and gets one coin per week  Wink

Thank you, I did not know that such a small ASIC existed and it falls well because I do not do this for profit I just want to see how the mining on the field.

The ccminer wants a pool a port and an address, for the address I think it is that of a wallet or an exchange in reception.

But the pool and the port how do I know? I saw a pool on this channel (H2C), but are there others? and how to choose? what should I watch?

thanks a lot

you're welcome, to get the info you need, you need a wallet, (to provide the address) and to create an account with a mining pool, then you can connect and mine  Wink

there are several pools listed on the first page of this thread

Is there a new EMC coin under development that will be swapped for current EMC2?

Not swap, it will be a classic FORK, where you get new coin call in equivalent to amount that you own in EMC2.

Excellent! Thanks!
