Anyone how what is going on with Cryptopools? They appear to be on the wrong fork or something is amiss there. Hope I didn't lose all that hashing and worse still, my friend who is on holiday and needed something safe to mine.

All I know is that for the past couple days they were sending double payments every once an while.  I e-mailed them several times about it but no response until today I woke up and they put up that statement.  I've since moved my miners since it does seem they are on the wrong chain currently.

Something is cooking .. make sure you have coins on exchanges to make some profits and not end up short like in the pump before MintPump & Craptsy. BUT NEVER EVER SELL ALL .. just look at BC, FLT, FAC, POT ..

Noble coin is being worked up too. PoS pool need more good PoW coins to mine, make EMC2 one of them - 200 DIFF in next month! hehe

I wish to EMC2 new floor at 1k.

Block reward halving is coming soon, in less than 1 000 blocks.

Yeah ! Next pump you can expect 2-3k for a 1k floor !

Price drive up right now !

This mean that i can sell high and rebuy at lower price then? I always afraid that if i sell my coins at high price, i cant rebuy then at lower Smiley psychological barrier)

I will only sell on a big panic buy, if it goes something like 30-40-50k one shot!

Sell on low range price like this is a bit dangerous :p

The price does seem to be moving up. That's a good sign, the higher it goes the bigger the donation will be. The bigger the donation, the more press, more press means we'll be taken more seriously. It a vicious cycle but its all good no matter how you look at it.  Wink

Block halving in less than 24 hours and we are extending Epoch 2 voting to April 21st (Monday). We're looking to give at least 50% more than the first Epoch to the next winner.

The community is getting bigger and bigger. If we keep this up, we can see Einsteinium completely funding some seriously large projects very soon. To the moon? We can fund a project that builds a rocket ship!

Vote while there's still time! http://einsteinium.org/nominations/

Remember, 2% of Total Coins Mined + market value = Donation total amount.

Today marks the anniversary of the passing of the great Albert Einstein.

Here is some information from Wikipedia:

On 17 April 1955, Albert Einstein experienced internal bleeding caused by the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, which had previously been reinforced surgically by Dr. Rudolph Nissen in 1948.[84] He took the draft of a speech he was preparing for a television appearance commemorating the State of Israel's seventh anniversary with him to the hospital, but he did not live long enough to complete it.[85]

Einstein refused surgery, saying: "I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share, it is time to go. I will do it elegantly." He died in Princeton Hospital early the next morning at the age of 76, having continued to work until near the end.

During the autopsy, the pathologist of Princeton Hospital, Thomas Stoltz Harvey, removed Einstein's brain for preservation without the permission of his family, in the hope that the neuroscience of the future would be able to discover what made Einstein so intelligent.[87] Einstein's remains were cremated and his ashes were scattered at an undisclosed location.

In his lecture at Einstein's memorial, nuclear physicist Robert Oppenheimer summarized his impression of him as a person: "He was almost wholly without sophistication and wholly without worldliness ... There was always with him a wonderful purity at once childlike and profoundly stubborn.

Albert Einstein did much more than his share for science, technology, and the human race. The Einsteinium Foundation hopes to continue his legacy of giving back to science and to the people who share his dreams of a brighter and bigger future.

Did not know that, interesting historical reference, thanks.
I have a question: how much EMC2 was donated in the first epoch?
And how much will donate in 2nd Epoch?

are there any new developments community seems quiet.

The community seems quiet, I agree, but the coin-team/dev-team are not. Non-profit is finally official, that probably took quite some work, but should allow making connections a lot easier. I guess there is a basic intro to EMC2 video about to be released soon too.

Always new developments going on behind the scenes. This is Easter weekend though so you can expect us to be quite over the next few days.
