First you need to install your wallet on your computer... then you set up your VPS for your remote eternitynode.

I set up my first two eternitynodes manually using instructions here... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1616533.260

My second two I used a Chao's script for compiling the VPS, here... https://github.com/chaoabunga/mnscripts much easier process.

I suggest you learn the manual install to understand the basics.
