People need to stop whining about Cryptsy when its down and have patience.

People need to stop whining about Cryptsy when its down and have patience. Vern and Bitjohn do a great job. Its the best exchange around. Made more money off it than anywhere else. It has issues from time to time but ffs its not that long off usually. Go spend time with the family/kids, go outside and do some exercise, see a movie while its down etc. People need to take a chill pill, it always comes back up and I have total confidence leaving my funds there knowing Vern always comes through on any issues that arise.

Seems yet again we had an issue today though shorter than the previous one. We again had issues scaling to meet demand. Since Thursday we have added three servers to deal with various issues of rapid growth. The most recent was brought on yesterday. We had to make some adjustments to it today to compensate for even more growth. Though this is a good problem to have it sucks for all of us as it means we hit a few snags on the way. More customers means more volume for the traders and more income to well add more servers to compensate for the continued 10% growth.
Is it frustrating yes to both us and the traders we support absolutely its lost opportunity for all of us. Sure you could trade elsewhere but most likely they would also run into the rapid growth and have the same issue we are working through. We are not the only exchange dealing with higher and higher volumes having issues with scaling it took some pretty big ones months to sort out. We are doing our best to keep up in days. So we apologize for your down time and we will continue trying to keep ahead of the customer growth.
So thanks again for sticking with cryptsy.com and we look forward to serving you for years to come.

With as much currency as he has flowing through this exchange, downtime for anyone is a huge issue unless you have an empty account, which I don't.
