The only Poloniex dude I've ran into that was actually seriously helpful and decent to talk to for the length I had to talk to them was this dude:

https://twitter.com/MickD

He pulled the right strings to get my week long account ordeal fixed.

Edit:  I tweeted him and tagged you too.

So many red flags all over the place in regards to Poloniex.

I've left them negative feedback until they get you taken care of Doog.

I've never had a problem with them before, but this is just weird. They won't respond to my ticket, haven't replied to my post here, and still haven't credited or refunded me for my deposit. Meanwhile they continue to spend the coins I deposited.

I hope there's a sensible explanation for why they're withholding my funds, and wish they would share it with me.

Maybe open a ticket referencing your ticket...?

Deposits and Withdrawals should be processing normally.

My deposit of around $10,000 worth of CLAMs from 8 days ago still hasn't been credited to my account. I am unable to get anyone to even reply to my support ticket.

The chat mods all tell me it will be processed "soon", but they've been saying that for a week while the site continues to fund withdrawals to others with the coins I sent them.

I hope it's just some kind of fuck up on their end, but be careful out there.

Feedback removed due to dooglus receiving his coins.

Deposit and withdraws are not working since over 3 hrs. no replies at support tickets.
Mods in chat only saying support work on it or ignore your requests.

Don't deposit to poloniex !!!

Deposits and Withdrawals should be processing normally. Connectivity to a wallet server failed and unexpected issues delayed mitigation.     https://twitter.com/Poloniex/status/777145303753494528            But I have a problem - the second day of the site does not open  ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR  or ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE or ERR_CONNECTION_RESET or load but

Last Friday, 7 days ago, I deposited 10,000 CLAMs to poloniex. My account was only credited for 200 CLAMs. I made a ticket but my account still wasn't credited.

I have been asking in the on-site chat for help and have been promised that it will be sorted out "as soon as possible", but still nothing happens.

I have tried talking to OldManKidd on IRC. He told me that busoni would "resolve that for you and get back to you as soon as possible", but that was days ago now.

At the time of my deposit the 10,000 CLAMs were worth 21 BTC. Now they are worth 12 BTC. This delay has cost me 9 BTC already. I deposited because the price was peaking and wanted to take advantage of it. I didn't expect the deposit to take a week to happen!

The ticket number is #67593.

Is there any way I can get in touch with someone at Poloniex who can help me?

--

Edit:

Please note: if you need support, the fastest way to get it is to open a ticket at poloniex.freshdesk.com. Please include all relevant information, e.g. txid for deposits, exact amounts, etc. And please, don't open multiple tickets with the same problem, or send the same issue to several different places. It will only slow things down.

Oops, I only just noticed that part. I hope this post didn't slow things down further.

I will monitor this thread and respond to your questions and feedback. If there is anything you have always wanted to see in an exchange, please let us know!

I would recommend focusing on the basics. Get deposits and withdrawals working well rather than adding fluff like margin trading, lending, etc. It's not unusual to see people complaining about "stuck withdrawals" or late deposits. It makes the site feel unprofessional when users are kept waiting for what should be simple operations to happen.

Sometimes it takes ages for a transaction to be confirmed - could be down to the ETC network being congested rather than Poloneix, some blockchains take longer than others, I usually wait 24 hours or longer before getting worried about a transaction not being completed. I remember IXC used to take 48 hours to process a transaction through its block chain a few years ago. I never transferred ETC before but waiting a few hours for some cons to process is not out of the ordinary, especially if there is a large queue of transactions to be added to the blockchain and not so many blocks being created.

The Polo guys didn't post on here for months - I suspect that they are reading the posts however. Better luck is through the official support channels for this kind of request...

I'm not surprised but still want to know if there are other ways to get in touch with them. I have been waiting 2 days for the further replies to my support ticket.

How long should it take to unlock Polo account if it's hacked?

Can someone please explain why sdc is being censored from the trollbox while we see nonesense xmr hype all day in the chat? Is polo in correlation with xmr pumpers? This is so suspicious. Your trollbox moderators have been banning people mentioning sdc. Xmr hypers however spam the chat hard. Please explain this.

Anyone do the address verification? How does it work? seems to not work for me

It didnt work for me either.

Dont know where's the problem but maybe it depends on your location.

Anyone else got it to work?

I didn't try yet, so I've just submitted an application for level2 verification. I'll update you here with news on how I got on. =)
Looks like I need to verify to level 3 for level 2 to be approved. Maybe thats the problem for most people on here. I don't need that level of withdrawal yet - so I'll keep how I am for now.

That doesn't make sense but do you guys trust Polo? To send them yor ID
If I trusted them enough to deposit enough BTC to be able to withdraw over $2,000 per day then I would also trust them with my details. Right now I'm off those kind of levels so I don't need to worry about it.

Lol these morons really delisted some good coins.

I pulled out completely as a result. For the sake of Poloniex customers I hope they break a streak I've had:

1. When I first got involved with cryptocurrency in January 2014, I signed up on Mt. Gox and then tried submitting documentation for a verified account. I screwed something up and wound up getting a rejection notice from them, right in the same hour that news of their demise was announced. I like to joke that Mt. Gox's last official act was rejecting me as a customer. ;-)

2. Getting involved with altcoins, I was then using Cryptorush when ivvt started having trouble. I was able to profit with some naively gutsy trading in the final days, such that I earned and withdrew a good deal more than I lost when they went under.

3. Later I used Allcrypt for a while. I liked it, but it was too small and things were thinly traded so I ultimately gave up and pulled completely out - and then a little later the owner claimed it was hacked and shut it down, taking all funds with it.

4. On to Mintpal and Cryptsy for a time. Both were good exchanges, but based on the particular coins I followed I ultimately simplified my trading reducing down to just using Bittrex and Poloniex. And as you all know, Mintpal and Cryptsy both went under and customers lost their funds, at least in the latter case.

I sometimes say that I have a lot of shrapnel in me (financial losses from negative events affecting coins I held, such as the Vericoin theft, Bitfinex hack and DAO fiasco) but I've never taken a bullet directly (losing bitcoins or alts directly due to a hack of my own funds). I just hope Polo survives me pulling out.  Wink

Nice record.

I'm interested to know, in your past experience in using exchanges, among Polo and Bittrex, which one of them has a greater chance to be the next Cryptsy? Wink
