For me share diff at p2pools is too big, so i prefer mpos pool.
You can set your own diff for any p2pool, so even that is a positive :-) The magic number is 0.00000116 for each kh/s of hashing power you have, so if you mine at 50kh/s simply add 50 x 0.0000016 = 0.000058 to your receive address and you will receive only shares adjusted to your diff level, syntax for this is:Receiveaddress+0.000058 so without spaces

I am surprised that people are asking for pools when we have excellent p2pools up and running, maybe they prefer to mine with full risks on a central mpos pool instead of a 100% safe p2pool.

So if you consider that even the 2 negatives on P2Pool are in fact positives I will stick with P2Pool as it is the only choice for smart miners

- It looks kinda cool with flashy graphics

- All miners mine into 1 central wallet managed by the pool owner
- If the pool gets hacked the coins can and most likely will be stolen
- The pool owner can run off with the coins
P2Pool:
Positive:
- All miners mine directly to their own wallet
- No signup needed so completely anonymous
- If a node gets hacked there are no coins to steal because there is no wallet
- Pool owner can not steal coins because there is no central wallet
- Decentralised mining where nodes share information, same as peer-2-peer principal
Negative:
- No flashy graphics, but most miners want coins not graphics
- It takes a while before you reach maximum payout due to the PPLNS payout system, but even that is compensated
So if you consider that even the 2 negatives on P2Pool are in fact positives I will stick with P2Pool as it is the only choice for smart miners

Could the developer set up a boundy for a new pool that only charges 1%?
Has to be a new pool, though. Not the current one. It doesn't count if they lower their fee.

We REALLY need a new thread. The dev needs to get on this ASAP. We need a first post we can update. There are TWO really good coin logos now and I haven't heard any consideration at all from the new devs about it.
We need to be more proactive if we expect this coin to have any chance.

IMHO for the moment it's the best to mine solo
depend how much hashpower you've got
for small miner pool is the best, but sometimes they are penalized by high fees

the only "negative" thing about this coin is that the official (and only, excluding p2p) pool has 2% of fees which is not very encouraging for the new miners, i think 1% is more fair. just imho
