Just letting everyone know I will not be very active the next few days because I am having knee surgery tomorrow. There are still other members of the development team that will be around so post if you have any issues.

If there are other members of the community that would like to help out with FIRE coin in general, we use a site called trello to track and exchange ideas. From here you can pick, or suggest jobs. If you want to help but don't have any idea how, please check the link below.

We are looking for community member that are willing to help out Firecoin long term. We need different members to lead different projects. Please let me know if you are interested. I can add you to our trello which has our to do list and can be assigned to people. This helps stay organized with what people are working on.

Here is a sneak peak. Hopefully we will have a better release date on Monday.

Super stuff Tomcat,

This has to be a first for any crypto currency, i have dealt with quite a few but never have they offered me such an option. Will someone on here correct me if i am wrong!
This was one feature sorely missing from every wallet that i ever downloaded. Only wish my wallet was more stable (rather electricity) as it would save me the trouble of re-downloading the blockchain each time my wallet crashed! Wishful thinking.  Wink

Not sure on this, but I think SaffronCoin was the first to implement in wallet trading.  If memory serves they implemented this in their wallet about a month ago.  Currently you can trade through Cryptsy and Bittrex through the wallet, I think it looks a bit different than this though.......in their wallet it loads these 2 exchanges just as if you were doing it from the browser.  They claim it is a bit more secure as it doesn't have browser vulnerabilities.....can't say how true that is.

Really cool to see Fire implementing this, the feature was very well received from the SFR community:-)

oohh very nice. in wallet trading. i like it. really hope this coin takes off as the devs are very active and very honest. also we are building a great community.

so if your sick of scamming devs who run away then maybe invest some btc into firecoin. come and spend some time in our irc room and meet the devs and make your own minds up.what do you have to lose?

Hey all, coin is looking good. Good job getting this coin on the right path.

I would suggest that there be a community wallet setup with the specific goal of keeping the chain moving quickly. Right now transactions are taking a long time to get confirmed because there are not enough blocks staking. This could be solved, or at least eased, if there was a community wallet that held lots of small blocks of firecoin that would be ready to stake, and having stake weight, at all times.

Thank you for the input. I thought of this and was part of the intent for the foundation. So far nobody has donated to it. We are also looking at reducing min stake age to around 3 hours.

Main donation addy in the OP? If so, I'll put my stakes in over the next few days to get you some staggered blocks.

It's not a lot. I haven't got a lot. But the coin stakes often and easy, even without coin control. (I'm running the daemon).

Thanks.

I really appreciate a community that steps forward and continue to developing on a coin. This stimulates more communities to do the same. As a crew member of WhiteCoin I know how long the road can be. Therefore i decided to help and have created a richlist / distribution list for FireCoin.

Feel free to check it out: http://www.richlist.eu/firecoin

I wish this community the best and you guys can make it rock.

Thank you. This is exactly what I love seeing. The community stepping up creating things for an open source coin.

Are you currently pulling in stakes after 24 hours? Or does it typically take a few days?

24 hours. shortly after they are able.
