I was trying to do a bit of research on FlutterCoin and the first thing I found was this ANN:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-fluttercoin-flt-proof-of-transaction-cash-back-for-sending-recieving-509499

It has a lot of misinformation related to FLT. Can it be removed?

I finally found this ANN through CoinMarketCap along with all the up to date and relevant information. The other thread could be a turn off for any "would-be" investors.

That is an issue, as it outdated websites not hosted by us.  We need to fix these, suggestions for it?

what is that coinhive  Undecided just crush my little computer  Cry

Sorry, much need to keep those script kiddies from gaming the faucet any further.

So an explanation as to why I choose this route is probably in order.
For those of you who don't know what coinhive is, it is a browser based XMR mining company.  The software they developed to do this has become very popular with bad bad people. It maybe seen or you may have heard of it has JS/Miner.  But after several months of testing this company's info. I can indeed say it is safe to use.  The javascript does indeed allow you to control its behavior 100%.  I have also tested to see if it remained resident in my test systems. It does not.  Soon as you closer your browser or even move to another tab the software stops.

After that brief little explanation of what the coinhive proof of work is, here is what I plan to do with any if at all funds generated by this method.
All XMR will be traded for fluttercoins at a split of 20% back to faucet and 80% to dev fund of the developers choice.

As of know, the current proof of work required to do is 2048 hashes.

But as I stated in another post.  The faucet, as long it is working as intended and not being gamed, is low on my priority list at the moment.

thanks for explanation.  Smiley yeah the faucet is needed a captcha system. Maybe it can be recaptcha + a math solving captcha somthing else .. that coinhive is really imposible because of needing computer hardware. faucets are for beginners or somebodies have time but not have money  Wink

One of you fucking scammy cunts decided to game the faucet apparently.

Enjoy your fluttercoins you fucking cheap bastard.

 Roll Eyes

Yes someone gamed the faucet.  That little trick has been fixed and now needs Proof of Work to get a reward.  However do to this scammy bastard.  This feature will now and possibly forever break the in wallet faucet feature.

I haven't had any time yet to look at redoing the wallet to faucet interactions and is low on my priority list.  But if your in the discord where I do most of my posting you'll find out when the faucet to wallet gets fixed.

Testing on testnet is almost complete.  We are finalizing a few things and double checking some of the code changes.  Happy New Years Eve to all, commits to master should be coming next week, and it will be a MANDATORY update.

Current dates have moved a bit due to some additional testing.
soft fork is January 31, 2018 //clients < protocol 70014 will be rejected
hard fork adjust of rewards is February 7, 2018 //a reward reduction for PoS to 5%
block 1410000 a reward increase to PoW to 20flt, this brings PoT on PoW to 1FLT, before it was .05flt which is ridiculous, even 1FLT is tiny, but I like the whole number.

--To put this in perspective, the Proof of Stake reward reduction will make the coin much less inflationary than it is currently.  Many times we are >33% currently.
--Proof of Work reward has barely any impact vs our Proof of Stake reward

For those asking there is not a MAX coin cap, kidcoin did not include it and based on the purpose of Fluttercoin it is reward sharing, can't do this without rewards.  Initially you may think this to be an issue, but after seeing the effects on coins lately, i don't think max coins makes a different anymore.  Our reduction values definitely puts us on a more sustainable track and allows investors to calculate ROI appropriately.

This probably should have been done for the past two years, but for our long time holders, thank you for sticking around and staking coins, the network has been good.  Time to get some more updates done.

For the newcomers check out discord link in the OP.  New graphics are being finalized.  And yes we will push for a few more exchanges too once we get cryptopia on the new client and we get past the hard fork (i don't see this as a huge issue, but i know many like trading at different sites)

Enjoy your NYE!

Thanks ofeefee for all the hard work.
I am a long term holder of FLT, haven't posted on this forum in a long time (today I realized my bitcointalk account has been hijacked ... so here I am with a brand new account just to post this Smiley)

Couple of quick thoughts, that have been on my mind:

1. Somehow we need the google search to show this thread instead of the old (locked) thread.
2. You need to integrate the term "cash back" in the promotion of this coin (also in title of this thread). It's a term people are used to and possibly resonate with normal people very well.
3. After the fork hopefully we can be back on Bittrex, that would help spread the word about this coin.

Thanks Again
Happy New Year All !

Fluttercoin:

No Premine.
No Instamine.
No ICO.

Let that sink in your pretty little heads.

Flutter's more legit than 99% of all the shitcoins out there.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

Yes, this is one reason why I was sitting around when I started back in crypto after a long hiatus.  Looking around no one had done what Fluttercoin has done, no one has our unique capabilities, why, I don't know...it's pretty cool feature.  So we fix it all up like a nice classic car and take it for a spin.

i wouldn't mind a lambo, but after the past 6 months, I'm getting much closer.
