@Frycoin,   you might have to modify the wallet again as there is a exploit that abusing Kimotos gravity well and robs from a coin using a hack referred to as time warp. Exchanges are removing all coins that havee KGW until either A. it is patched or B. devs remove KGW.

We will look into this. If there is anybody with the expertise to help us quickly, it would be really appreciated!

I'm in Canada, online gambling has never been an issue here. This idea kept me awake in bed last night. I have the images in my head, the lobby, user account page with balances, the poker room with table selection and the tables, hard to get them out of my head though. I also work full time 7-5 and have to chase 3 kids around in the evenings so also hard to find time. I envision something like Pokerstars.net or fulltilt poker for the tables

I think it will be a matter of time before the bitcoin casino's will start using other coins as well. Building something like this yourselve is very time intensive and takes a lot of money. It is an interesting future step to approach gaming companies that will incorporate the coin into their games.

You are better man then most other dev's I have seen on the newer coins lately, a lot abandon a coin or are barely active and the ones who are barely active when asked if they have given up on a coin freak out and complain that its the community that need to be actively promoting a coin not the dev,

Thanks, man. Appreciate it. Smiley

Something I thought would be awesome for altcoins in general. Instead of an exchange like all the other generic exchanges out there what about a website that is something like Pokerstars.net or one of those other higher quality texas holdem site. You create an account, and like the exchanges you have a balance tab where you can deposit any amount of any different types of coins, then you go find a poker table where others are gambling a specific coin you are gambling. The site gets something like 0.1% of table winnings and charges 0.3% on withdrawals. While you are waiting for a game to start if by chance the coin you want to play texas holdem with is not too popular there could be a lobby screen setup where you can chat and maybe waste a few coins in digital slot machines. The idea can be expanded from there, but I think its a cool one and Id be there all the time playing texas holdem. If i had the programming skills and time to develope it I would. There are two big standouts here, one it is for more then one type of altcoin and 2 right now they only coins you can play poker with other people with online are btc and ltc.

This is a perfect example of a way to create value for a coin! Maybe it would be easier to get the large onlin poker sites to start accepting the coins in a seperate pool, where they skim a bit from the top. The value in USD is not so important then, because they get a % anyway. In many countries (including the one I'm from), I am not allowed to partake in such things, so it is something that has to be done from the US for example. Summerside from a gamble friendly country? At any exchange (even criptsy) if I get over .1 BTC I take it out!!  I got really lucky and got my BTC out before all the problems there had happened.  Then as I was selling I found out my accumulated BTC was locked and would let me take it out.  I ended up trading it for other shitcoins, taking them out and trading them on criptsy.

What do I do with my accumplated BTC, trade it for silver bullion!!!

Thats fine but have you seen the shitcoins on CryptoRush, they are all at inflated prices due to panic from people doing exactly what you are doing above driving up the value of these coins on that one exchange. I am thinking of taking a gamble and mining some of these shitcoins and selling them there and hoping they turn around, maybe I am dillusional though i dont know

High risk, high returns/high losses kind of business. In the end, the biggest risk for a coin is an inactive dev, so we can at least help with that. Smiley

Has dev given up on this coin?Huh No forum activity in a while

You know how tired me and other devs get of this comment? "No forum activity in a while!" It's been 2 days...

Funny thing is that post was on the 29th, which is the last time that dev posted on his coins forum:P

Fail coins dev abandoned that coin.
Noodleyappendages dev abandoned that coin
Serra coins dev abandoned the coin 4 days after launch lol

Initial attraction is easy to achieve for any new coin, and usually momentum builds up for many days until it hits an exchange then all those pump and dump miners who are only in it for the initial quick gain sell and flee and the momentum comes to a grinding halt.

Check this bullshit out from that exchange PmtoCoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=447858.new#new
this really needs to be removed from the main page as an exchange, the coins l lost as a whole were not worth a whole lot save my time but the priniciple of it is there and it is listed here on the main page, I am just glad I did not dump all 3.5million of my coins there.

Sorry about that. The exchanges keep popping up, so it's probably not safe for a while and always good to keep some coins stored privately. I will remove PMtocoin from the OP, but Cryptorush seems to have stayed afloat for now.

CryptoRush lost a lot of my faith in there competence but keep some of my faith in their honesty. Who knows though, they could be stalling the inevitable or bullshitting us, who really knows, I have .6BTC on there so I am not heavily invested but i would still like to get my coin out of there someday. Im not a super miner and that BTC took me a good 6 weeks to accumulate.

Still  no response from PMtoCoins echange and still no frycoins in my account there, so it looks like I am out over 500K due to this shit scam exchange

Even if you did get them, you wouldn't be able to take out BTC if you sold them.  Damn, that SUCKS!!!

Is that shit site messed up like Cryptorush, at least on cryptorush there is still someone there to answer your questions, this shit site no one responds to anything.

Maybe the downturn of the market gets some of them to fail. Probably good in the long run.
I have no idea, the impression I have is that their sites are amateurish enough to allow hackers to steal everything worth stealing. I however do feel that any exchanges that are not valid anymore should be removed from the main page, on another note that piece of shit exchange that cost me 532K of Frycoins is no longer accessible

You need to figure out how to get a LOT more people actively mining this coin, currently there are only 2 or 3 of us

We appreciate the people that have kept supporting us! On the short term our way to salvation (playing a little bit too much Bioshock Infinite Cheesy) will be to promote the coin and raise the value. We have these goals:

Main Goal:
Raise the value of the coin --> We want to give the coin a purpose (the basis for value) and have a strong community to support the coin.

Partial goals:
1. Restore the confidence in the coin from the altcoin community --> we restored the 300 FRY block reward and communicated transparently. IN PROGRESS
2. Spread the word around to the general public --> trying to spread the word via Reddit and other places. IN PROGRESS --> We need more team members to also go on Twitter and Thunderclap (PM me)
3. Giving the coin a purpose ---> Create the scratch and raffles game + getting the tipbot working. The tipbot is probably the best way to give it a purpose for the general public. We will create a team of maximum ten people that get 10K fry to start tipping people. IN PROGRESS
4. Getting more miners: Miners are mosty very money oriented, so it has to grow with the rising value of the coin. Input is appreciated Smiley   TO BE DECIDED

What do you people think?
